I woke up in a hospital room-actually I woke up in the worst pain I ever felt, my breathing was okay, yet it felt short. "..." I can't talk. All was a stutter and trembling whisper of breath that escaped from my lips. I heard the repeating beep of the monitor beside me. The door was closed, though the room I'm in is a bit roomy. The lights was off and the only light there was were the disappearing rays of the sun, heading into twilight. I slowly turned my head seeing someone, I squinted my eyes as they came closer. I'm still drowsy, maybe from the medication, but I was in a bit of pain still, I can't even feel my legs. A hand held my wrist, it was cold like dust that freckled the air there in a cold, abandoned room. I looked up, feeling the drowsiness become heavier on me, it was hard to fight it. The figure's face had no emotion, "Y/n. Listen to me, stay away from him. Do you hear me? He's a dangerous man, even if something cured him it won't undo everything he's done...." "Ash?" I breathe out hoarsely. "Y/n, the others and I will never forget you" "ash....w..h.at.?" his hand went through mine and he disintegrated into dust, as jet black ink slowly blotted over my eyes.
