The Mocha Festival

Jessi looked around quickly. Was she alone? Yes, alone at last! Her brother Mason, and her stepsisters Michelle and Marlie were gone at the park with the evil one, AKA Sloane, her father's fourth wife who was half his age. Sloane was very fashion forward, but SO conceited and with a huge ego. Sloane didn't have a job, but instead of being a stay at home mom, she spent all her time at the mall with her best friend, Sabrina, who was equally snotty. Jessi was so fed up with Sloane right now. Sloane went and threw all of Jessi's clothes away for skimpy shorts and too tight tanks. What was she doing? Who really knew what went through her mind. Sloane probably couldn't even count to 10. After going through every room, Jessi grabbed her green binder from the compartment under her bed.

"Ahhh!" she sighed.

Andrew Carpenter! The love of her life. The only guy she wanted to go to the annual Mocha Festival and Dance with. Only one problem: Andrew was supposedly going with Andrea Wellis. Andrew and Andrea?Really? That even sounds like it will go wrong. Jessi wanted to go with Andrew so bad, but he wasn't in school so she could ask him. Jessi knew that in most cases, the guy asked the girl, but Andrew would never notice her. 😕. Oh well. She would try.
