Chapter 3

" Pregnant!"

"Oh my gosh! That's huge news!!" Jessi exclaimed.

"Thank you. Your father is going to find out tonight, along with the others." Sloane replied.

"Wow!"

"So, do you want a responsibility?" Sloane asked.

"Ugh... sure."

"Great! I want you to name the baby." Sloane tried to stop a smile.

"What?! I would love to! And I already know the names." Jessi stated.

"What?" Sloane asked.

"If it's a girl, the name will be- Wait! does it have to start with M?" Jessi retorted.

"No, I have decided no." Sloane surprised Jessi yet again.

"Oh! Well then, girl Angelina Claire, and boy Joseph Michael." Jessi stated.

"I love it!!!!" Sloane yelled, causing Jessi to cover her ears. "Sorry!"

"You're fine. Besides, you're excited!" Jessi accepted the apology.

"You are so sweet. Thank you for that." Sloane said.

"Thank you for being kind to me." Jessi replied.

"I am sorry for being mean to you when I met you."

"Your apology is accepted. And when is the baby due?" Jessi asked.

"Well, a pregnancy lasts about 40 weeks, and I am 12 and a half weeks. The baby is due on March 14."

"Wow! I can't wait!" Jessi exclaimed.

"Me either." Sloane said.

I know this is slow, but I have an eye for details!!! I have a gazillion ideas, but can't figure out how to put then together to make them NOT slow. I also love writing about babies, so that will probably pop up a lot!! 🌅
