The Mocha Festival

Chapter 5

As Jessi walked to the store, a boy walked up to her. He had brown hair, and was wearing a hat and sunglasses so Jessi couldn't see his face.

"Hey beautiful!" The boy said.

"Um....who are you?" Jessi asked.

"Jesse."

"That's my name!" Jessi said.

"I know. My name is actually Drew." Drew said.

"Oh. Cool. " Jessi said.

"So.....do you have a date to the Mocha Dance?" Drew questioned.

"Nope. " Jessi declared.

"Oh! Then, will you go with me?" Drew proposed.

"I barely know you!" Jessi exclaimed.

'But he is cute' she thought

"True. Okay then. My full name is Andrew Glenn Robinson. I have twin two year old sisters, Abby and Anna. I am in seventh grade at Washington Middle School. And, my friend David Wright knows your stepmom." Drew said matter-of-factly.

David Wright? Sabrina Wright's son? No way!

"Wow. " Jessi proclaimed.

"So....will you go? With me?" Drew asked yet again.

"Well.......my answer is."
