Chapter 11 - Tonight was...Interesting?

I made my way down to the beach, walking past a group of guys in the process.

I didn't go very far when I was stopped by a large arm wrapping around my waist, slamming me into a rock hard chest.

I tried to get out of his grip but every time I moved he would tighten his grip on my waist, I gave up and just waited for him to let me go. Instead of letting me go he turned me around, he was tall and had a well built figure.

His shaggy blonde hair looked like he had just came from a photo shoot, his large green eyes eyeing me. His gaze flicked to my lips and back to my eyes.

He started to lean forward, his breath was fanning over my lips, our lips connected and surprisingly I found myself responding. His tongue traced my bottom lip asking for entrance. When I didn't open my mouth he forced tongue inside. After our little make out session I get him off of me and head to the dock.

I walk right to the edge and dangle me feet. I look at the sun setting of the crystal clear water. The water reflected off of the water illuminating the dock. My inner wolf started to go crazy, howling loudly. I tried to push her to the back of my mind but then I smelt the most amazing sent I have ever smelled.

Mate.

I jumped, when I heard foot steps behind me. I looked up into a pair of bright green eyes. He looked oddly familiar. Oh yeah, that's right the guy from the coffee shop, Jacob. He gives me a cheeky smile as he takes a seat next to me.

My wolf feels odd, it's like she is calm? Wait...I sniff the air and of course that intoxicating smell fills my lungs. My wolf is pretty much purring.

Jacob, he is my mate.

"Hello again. Didn't expect you to be here." I could tell he was trying not to smile but he failed when I noticed the corner of his lips pull into a small smile.

"Yeah, decided to go to the beach, little did I know there was going to be a party." I smiled back at him.

"Wanna go for a swim?"

"Uh...sure that's what beaches are for..I guess."

He laughs and I giggle at how stupid I sounded. -wait hold up! Did I just giggle? Jeez what happened to me?!- he stood up and held out his hand for me to take, I eagerly grabbed it. As soon as our hands made contact, shots of electricity ran through my hand.

I looked up into Jacobs eyes. Can he feel it to? Before I know what happens I feel cold water surround me as my head hits the edge of the dock, before I slowly fade into unconsciousness.

Jacob's POV

I stood up and offered my hand out to her. Our skin made contact and my hand starts to tingle, what the hell? I look at her to find her staring straight into my eyes. I gulp, I wonder if she feels it to? I was brought out of my trance when Mackenna abruptly let's go and falls into the water. I look at my hand where her once small hand was in mine it felt so..perfect, it felt so..natural?

I snapped out of my daydream and back to reality, Mackenna still hasn't surfaced.

I take my shirt off and jump in after her.

The freezing cold water hits my skin, causing goosebumps to rise. I ignore it and concentrate on finding Mackenna.

I open my eyes and there she is unconscious slowly disappearing. I quickly swim to her and grab her arm pulling her over my shoulder.

When I surface I yell for help. I swim as fast as I can to the shore of the beach, I lay her down on the sand and grab my phone from the dock.

I start to call the ambulance. Just as I was about to press the green button, her eyes fluttered open as she started coughing out large amounts of salt water. I tilted her head to the side to allow her to breathe.

The ache in my heart has eased now that I know she is okay. I don't know why it was even there I don't feel anything for her, I don't even know her.

Her lips turn blue as she starts shaking. I quickly remove her wet clothing except for her bikini, I try to push the thoughts out of my head as I rush to grab my shirt and a picnic blanket. I pull the shirt over head and wrap the blanket around her. Slowly her lips turn to their normal shade of dark pink.

After a few minutes she takes the blanket off of her and gives me back my shirt. I look at her confused.

"I'm not cold anymore." I shake my head and give her my shirt. I couldn't help myself when my yes roam down her body. She looks down and her lips tug into a smile.

"Like what you see baby?"

With those words said I snap my head up to see her smirking. My eyes go wide as she lets out a chuckle. "I'm kidding!" I release a breath I didn't think I was holding , "maybe" with her sentenced finished I feel my cheeks burn in embarrassment. I look away trying to hide my blushing cheeks.

When I look back up she is gone.

Sorry for the long wait, I've had really bad writers block lately but I finally decided to try and write something so here it is!

Sorry it's short, and sorry for the cliffhanger. I know I hate them to but I really dont know how to continue this chapter, I know there is probably a lot of ways to continue but I can't think of how I'm going to put it so I'm going to wait for an idea to pop into my head before I write the next chapter.

I will try to update as soon as possible! Remember I love you guys! I will be updating She's dead? Possibly today but I don't know yet! Anyway hope you enjoy this chapter.
