Debbie plopped down on the couch, stretching out her legs.
"Wow. Yer house is big," I said in awe.
"Yeah. We moved. Ever since I've been unpacking."
"That's gear. Got any food?" I replied, opening the fridge.
"Yeah. Then meet me in me room." She headed upstairs. I opened the fridge and pulled out a simple biscuit and ran up to her room. Debbie had the record player on. "What ye listenin to?" I asked, kicking off my flats.
"The Quarrymen," Debbie said, dreamily. "John, Paul, George, and Pete."
"Who?" I asked. Debbie gasped.
"You don't know who The Quarrymen are?" I shook me head. "Wow. Prepare for a lesson." A few hours later I finally stopped Debbie.
"One lives in ye circle," Debbie pointed out. "I can't believe ye didn't know." I was about to speak, but she kept talking. "I bet ye can see him before school tomorrow."
"Great! I'll meet a celebrity!" I exclaimed.
"Or see where they play. They're around a bunch," Debbie took a bite out of biscuit and looked at the time. "Ye mum should be by any minute. Let's go wait downstairs fer her."
