Daniel Graystone went to meet the former Blessed Mother the next day while Durham got a strike team ready. Just as the Blessed Mother had suggested, the strike team would be partially made up of Cylons that Daniel knew were still loyal. They had agreed to meet back at the house to decide on strategy. Daniel returned with the former Blessed Mother who decided she wanted to watch the battle from where it was commanded.
As the pieces fell into place, Zoe found herself somewhat left out. Daniel decided to put her in charge of strategy so she sat down at the computer to analyze the information that her dad had gotten. The weak points of the camp were a seres of drainage tunnels that traveled beneath the temple. Zoe decided their best bet would be to attack on two fronts. A direct attack on the gates would draw firepower from the second attack through the drainage tunnel to the north. The strike team also had orders to take Lacy, Clarice, and Tamara into custody if possible.
All that was left was to wait. The Graystone family, the Blessed Mother, and Jordan Durham all sat in the basement of the Graystone Estate awaiting word that the temple on Gemenon had been breached. It was night fall before they heard anything.
On Gemenon, Odin made his way to the temple with a strike team made from former STO members, Cylons, and Caprica Legionaries. It had been a year now since he had last been there.
Odin watched the Cylon across from him closely. He knew that they were supposed to be loyal, but he still didn't trust them.
The ship landed near the outskirts of the camp. The first wave went around to the front gates while Odin and his team went to the drainage tunnel. After cutting through the bars of the grating, he and his team entered. They made their way through the temple and managed to penetrate to the uppermost levels without meeting any resistance.
They finally ran into the first wave. Something had gone wrong, there was no one in the camp. He called Durham with the news.
"We've reached the camp," Odin said over a long range wireless transmission, "it's weird though, the camp is defenseless."
"Are you sure about that?" Durham asked.
"The place is deserted, they must have figured out we were coming."
"That's impossible. How could they have evacuated so quickly?"
"I don't know but..." Odin began. Something out of the corner of his eye caught his attention. One of the Cylons put a finger to its temple.
"By your command," it said as if responding to someone. The Cylon lifted its gun and fired at a Caprica Legionary. Odin just barely managed to take cover behind a column.
Back on Caprica, the Blessed Mother, the Graystones, and Durham sat around the computer console listening. As they listened, they heard gunfire
"Frak it Graystone! What did you program into these things?" they heard Odin yell.
"The Cylons?" Daniel asked, "what's happening? Are you being ambushed?"
"Yes, by our own troops! You said these things were loyal!"
"They were, I don't understand how this could happen."
"Well it's happened and now I'm running for my frakking life!"
"Get out of there," Durham said. The line went dead. They waited at the console for a few minutes but heard nothing more from Odin.
"How did this happen?" Durham asked.
"They weren't in the camp! Of course! that's what Lacy tried to tell me!" Zoe said.
"You're only telling us now?" the Blessed Mother asked.
