The group moved through the newly occupied streets of Caprica City, never staying in one place long. They had been ducking through side streets and alleyways trying to avoid the squads of Cylon Centurions as they marched their way down the streets. It had been about a day since the takeover and Daniel still couldn't believe what had happened. While he had the Caprica Legionaries chasing down single rebellious Cylons, he had ignored an army literally growing on his doorstep. The group stayed together, their only chance at stopping the Cylon war campaign against the Twelve Colonies was to help each other and find others that they could trust.

"So what are we going to do?" Durham asked breaking the silence.

"I don't know," Daniel answered.

"These are your frakking machines Graystone. You' were the one who wanted a Cylon in every home. Think of something."

"It's kind of hard to think of something when every decision I make seems to be the wrong one lately."

"How did things turn around so quickly?"

"The Cylons must have been planning this for a long time," Zoe said.

"Why are they only attacking now?"

"Strength in numbers I guess. They must have been waiting to have enough troops under their control before comitting to anything."

"How didn't we notice them getting ready for war?"

"They kept themselves hidden, just like I hid the fact I was a robot from you. I always said I saw something of myself in them. The minds of the Cylons were based on a wiped version of my chip."

"So they think like you," Daniel said, "all that teenaged rebellion turned into a war machine."

"Speculating about the how and why of all of this isn't going to help us now," Durham said.

"We just need to come up with a plan," Amanda said.

"Any thoughts?" the Blessed Mother asked. The group stayed quiet for a while until Daniel finally spoke up.

"I think I might have an idea," Daniel said, "It'll be tricky though."

"Well, what is it?" Durham asked.

"Where is the seat of the Cylons' power?" Daniel asked. The rest of the group stayed quiet.

"Your company!” Zoe said.

"Yes. We've been building millions of these things. The Cylons have all they need there. Raw materials, assembly plants, shipping trucks, even a computer network all under their complete control."

"So our target is the heart of the Cylon war effort?" Durham asked.

"It's their greatest strength, which makes it their greatest weakness."

"The place is going to be swarming with Cylons."

"So it's a good thing you have me. I know the entire layout of the main building. I can get us in."

"And I can get us explosives," The Mother said.

"Where would you get explosives?" Durham asked.

"I still have quite a few contacts in the STO. You know from experience just how much of the stuff they have lying around," the Blessed Mother said. Zoe winced at this last comment as she remembered the day of the train bombing.

"I might be able to stop this Imperious Leader," Zoe said.

"What makes you say that?" Duham asked.

"I know who she is. I know her weaknesses. Tamara is a god in V-world. If she's anywhere, she'll be in there."

"V-world would have been the first thing to be taken over," Daniel said, "we'll have to access it from my office."
