Usually, our lunch isn't that bad. It's probably the best part of the day. We hang out in a hallway most days. We being me, Kelsey, Cindy, Andy, Tyler, Ian, and Eric(Cindys BF). We have food fights, people fight over each others food, and we simply just hang out and be weird. Now and again though, we hang outside in one of our secret places. There's one on the roof, one in the forest next to the school, and one tucked against the wall facing the parking lot. No one can see us in any of the spots and would only know we use them if they were invited.

Andy, being the party-whore, loves to bring weed and alcohol. She also likes to bring someone "cool enough" to hang out with us. I already had a feeling as to who she invited.

Mikey crashed through the leaves and pushed through the branches to get to our spot. We all looked up at his noisy entrance.

"Well," He said, looking around. "I wouldn't have even known this was here."

"That was the point..." Cindy muttered.

Eric laughed. The rest of us tried to keep straight faces while Mikey looked at us all confused.

"What?" He asked.

"Well, the uh branch there," I pointed to the branch that was stuck on his butt. "Seems to like you."

The rest of them lost control. As Mikey picked at the branch until it came off, the others tried to regain their cool.

"So," Mikey said, finally finished. "You're here everyday?"

"No." Andy said rolling her eyes. "We have numerous other spots. We mix them up incase someone gets..." She looked at Ian. We all knew she was about to say 'heartbroken.'

"Angry?" Kelsey supplied.

"Annoyed?" Added Cindy.

"Outraged?" Tyler decided to join the fun.

"Hateful?" Eric asked.

"Bitchy?" Mikey said, shrugging.

I decided I had to join too. "Jealous of our totally awesome sexiness?" I said tossing my hair.

Everyone looked at me and laughed.

"I think I like yours best." Eric said laughing hard. He's the guy joker of our group. Major difference from Cindy. She's always thinking things through and stuff.

"Anyways," Andy grabbed all of our attention. "Kat, you have a lighter?"

"Oh you know I do." I answered, tossing her the lighter.

"Thanks." She said, before lighting her joint.

"Did you bring drinks this time?" Kelsey asked. She loved being drunk. It made her feel.. light as air. "The weed dries up my throat and then I would kill for even water!"

Cindy made a face. "Ew. School water."

"Yeah, it's like, gonna turn me into a sea monster or something." Eric teased her. She punched his shoulder playfully.

"Don't be making fun of her, Eric." I called out laughing. "She could beat you up!"

Eric laughed. "I think I could take her." He called back.

This was basically how lunch went. Mikey kept looking at us all awkwardly. It must be terrible being the only one in a group who doesn't seem to know anyone.

I decided to skip the rest of the day. I was so high after lunch that the teacher would've suspended me and sent me home, That would not have ended well. So I stayed in the forest. I climbed a tree and lay down. Looking at the leaves as I slowly fell asleep....
