"I love a good freak show, it's time to turn the tables on these idiots."

Living in the time Riverdale was in, everyone had a secret, something they never wanted to show the world, something that could ruin everything just from being heard. Unfortunately, even for the nicest people, they all still have a secret that could tear their perfect little world in half.

As everyone left the funeral, we turn to see Josie McCoy, an aspiring artist who unfortunately falls into the shadow of her used to be mayor mother. "Come on Josie, let's pick up Alice and her family and get out of here. This place just screams unnatural." Sierra tells Josie as she tugs her towards Betty and the other Coopers. "Let's go Alice." Sierra says sternly. Alice complies and her and her family follow Josie and Sierra back to their apartment.

As they all file back into the apartment, everyone heads straight back to their bedrooms and falls asleep instantly. But as for Josie, it was everything but sleep that terrifying night. Josie lands on her bed as the darkness slides through her window and a strange evil begins to fill the room, not being seen, but being felt.
Josie ignores this feeling and slams her head straight onto her pillow and slips her eyes shut.

Only a matter of seconds later, Josie is awaken by the sound of her apartment door opening extremely slowly. She instantly sits up and waits to see if the sound continues, and it does. After the door has fully opened, the sound of unnaturally light footsteps is heard, ever so quiet, yet ever so loud. Josie holds her breath in fear, but gets out of bed, grabs a bat and prepares to start a battle. She flings open her bedroom door and flies into the lounge like a ninja, but sees nothing.

"What the..." Josie says, losing her breath once again, before fully losing it once she feels someone run behind her, leaving a permanent chill in the air. Josie feels so much fear wash over her she couldn't even scream if she tried. Josie, without thinking, sprints straight to her mother's room, but is scarred out of her mind when she finds.

Her mother wasn't there.

Josie then brings up the courage to scream and wakes up everyone else in the apartment instantly. "What's going on?" Chic stutters as him, Alice and Betty stumble into Sierra's bedroom. "I heard someone walk into the apartment and then they ran behind me and then I went into my Mom's room and she's GONE!" Josie shouts, tears pouring down her cheeks and landing on the floor. "Oh god! We have to call Sheriff Keller!" Alice exaggerates.

"There's no need, I'm fine." Sierra says calmly, striding into the room making the whole group sigh with relief. "Mom! You're okay!" Josie says crying as she runs up to her mother and hugs her. "H-how? There's someone in the apartment that broke in! We have to go an-" Josie says before being cut off by her mother. "It's fine, I know, I dealt with them. We're safe now." Sierra said back, comforting her daughter. "But what did you do to them? Who were they?" Josie asked, still on edge. "It's fine, now, everyone just needs to go to bed and get some rest." Sierra said ushering everyone back to their bedrooms. Josie was sceptical but was too tired to worry, and fell asleep almost instantly. Oh what I mistake that was.

As the next day came around, Riverdale restarted, it wasn't going to let the last few day's "events" affect the town's spirit. Unfortunately, not everyone was that positive, and nothing was ever 100% okay in Riverdale, so it was only a matter of time before things got much, much, darker.

With a new day, there was new problems, and as for Archie, there were more than enough problems for him to deal with. To start with, his mother was coming back home after getting a new boyfriend, Chad Harrington. And to make matters worse, his old elementary school nemesis, Charlene was returning back to Riverdale after her mother was promoted, and she was going to do everything but be kind to Archie. But, through all of these events coming up, Archie remained positive and optimistic, for a reason no one knew why.

As the school day began Archie and Jughead found themselves walking through the halls with everyone staring at them with disgusted and malicious looks on their faces, each person whispering something as they passed them. "Why is everyone whispering?" Jughead quietly asked Archie. "How am I supposed to know? All I know is that I'm sure it has something to do with Charlene." Archie replied. "Wait, you mean the Charlene?" Jughead asked, looking terrified. "Yep." Archie replied solemnly.

The embarrassed pair continued to walk down the hall until the found themselves face to face with Archie's nemesis, Charlene. She was tall with long flowing blonde hair and a skirt that was much more innocent than what she was capable of. "Oh, hello Archie." Charlene said with a smirk. "Hi Charlene." Archie said, rolling his eyes and walking off. "Wait a sec Archie, there's something I need to tell you." Charlene said weirdly as she grabbed Archie's shoulder, making her long blonde hair flip around.

"Ugh, what is it Charlene?!" Archie said annoyed. "What I wanted to say before I was rudely interrupted was, how about we truce for once? I mean I am back here permanently so we may as well get along. So, truce?" Charlene said, whisking our her hand in front of Archie. "You wish." Archie scoffed while Jughead and him walked off, leaving Charlene standing there. "Oh, he's going to pay!" Charlene said grinding her teeth.

As the school day came to a close and after all the football practice had finished, Archie was walking home from school, the night had already begun and no one was left walking home, as Archie turned down street after street after street he eventually found himself back on his home street. But as he was walking home, he could see his father's car outside his house, somehow hidden in a way Archie couldn't describe. Archie began to jog towards the car, and as he did he saw something he would never, ever forget. Archie's father, another woman, embracing each other and kissing.

The woman was Charlene's mother.
