Chapter 21: Close

**Matt's POV**

I was just rushed out of Tara's hospital room. She was fine,then, it just stopped. Her

heart stopped. Now, they had these 2 shocking thingys that might bring her back.

(I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE CALLED😂) Then it all hit me, Doug, but how? I

was with Tara EVERY moment! Just then a figure in all black nudged me as they walked

by. I think it was a girl. She had

blonde hair. I couldn't see her face from the tears in my eyes. By the time I wiped the

tears away, they were gone. I didn't follow her because Tara is

fighting for her life, and she needs me,but I need her more. The nurse came back with

news. "Mr.Espinosa? I have good and bad news. The good news, Tara's heart is still

beating and she will be ok. The bad news is what caused her heart to stop was a toxin. It

is very dangerous. It was made with multiple foreign drugs and, it's being sent to the lab

so experts can tell us exactly what it is.", she said with a sad look on her face. I was

relieved Tara would be okay. I did recall Doug mentioning something about drugs from

a guy named Alfonzo. He did say Alfonzo had the best drugs and Peru is a foreign

country. "Um, how did Tara get those drugs?", I asked. "Well, somebody injected it in

he wrist.", she replied. I nodded my head and walked away. I can't see Tara yet , so I

decided to take matters into my own hands. I walked up to the 3rd floor office area, and

asked to speak with a supervisor. "Hello Sir, I'm Mike, the supervisor can I help you?",

he asked. "Yes, I need to see a list of every single nurse that entered or treated Tara

Collins in room 143.", I demanded."Sir, that is confidential. I'm sorry I can't help you.",

he said aggravated. "Well, she's my girlfriend. Somebody in YOUR hospital tried to kill

her! I will get law enforcement and the press involved if I have to!", I yelled. He nodded

his head a gave a list of names.

I stopped when I saw Cassie Orpington. I'm pretty sure I know her. Maybe I don't- oh

wait up! Yes, I do know her. Her and Molly were best friends. Maybe the still are. Cassie

also had blonde hair.... Wait is she helping Doug?! Was that her,the girl who nudged me?
