Tonight's TRUE Suprise Pt.2

We bid farewell to the kind café owners and headed home. As we walked, Todoroki's warm hand was clasped together with mine. I was quite nervous so you can expect my hand was sweating but it seems he didnt mind.

"Shouto, do you want to rest for a while?"

We have been walking quite far. We aren't much in a rush so it wouldn't hurt to rest.

"Not really, you?"

Of course he'd ask me, he wouldn't want to do it if I didn't want to. I worry for him because of our hero jobs. What if I pop like a bubble disappearing into thin air, I can never come back. Will he be able to cope? Our job as a hero must not be belittled. You must be ready to sacrifice and to give to serve that was always our code.

I tilt my head to the side, Shouto looks so worried. I must have I been mumbling again. I take a sit on the nearby park benches.

"Midoriya, are you okay?"

"Yeah...." I tried to give off a happy voice to fool him but he wasn't convinced. It seems I'm the fool.

"You're not. Midoriya we've been together for so long. You were like this in our highschool days too. I'm going to ask you again, are you really okay?"

"I've just been thinking."

"About what?" He orderingly said.

"..." I was hesitant. If I told him, will he have an answer? Will he understand?

"I see." He lets go off my hand.

"Do you want to take a break?" WHAT? Shouto please. You can't do this to me. I'm willing to give you everything but if you want to,

"Sure." Ah! I'm crying. When I saw a drop drip to my pants I knew. Shouto reached to my back and locking me tight.

"No. I didn't mean to do this. Sorry."

Ugh! I couldn't stop. As soon as I was able to calm down. I pushed him away.

"I'm sorry it was just that I was a little worried about our future especially as heroes-" He cut me off.

"I get what you mean but doesn't that mean you should cherish this little time we have."

Yeah! I was a fool. I should have told him. As a lover, I've failed in many aspects.

Shouto took a step backwards. What's happening. His eyes closed he took a deep breath then suddenly,starting from his hand. there's a huge ice dome covering us.

He opened his eyes and then smiled looking at me. Then he released a burst of flame on his hand. Then clasped both his ice and fire creating a sculpture. What is it?

He melted the ice dome returning us to reality by burning it with a soft flame.

"Did you really need the ice dome?"

He scratched his head,"Well it was a fire hazard."

"I guess." I giggled.

He walked closer having a smile holding the sculpture in his hand. I saw it resembled Todoroki and me holding each other's hands sitting on the café.

"Shouto..."

"I've been going to that place since I was young wanting to go with you but since you were always busy with your job. I understand that you're busy but please give some time for us."

"I'm sorry. Thank you so much for bearing with me. Anyway how long did it take for you to make this?"

"A few tries but no matter what I wanted to do something special after all it's our anniversary."

"Happy Anniversary <3"
Shouto thinks he's the only one who got a trick up their sleeve.

I pull out the ring I bought here in Osaka. I was meaning to give it to him when I get home but I might as well do it now.

"Give me your hand." He was confused doing it so hesistantly. I bend my leg. I bring out the ring I bought. It was silver and had nothing special on it but behind the ring it said "Love".

I slid the ring in his finger.

"I promise you we will always be together-"

"Forever." Shouto finishes.
