Finding the Lost

Time with caretaker part 1

"Hey! I'm home! I brought someone with me!" Cato calls, as we walk into his house. I hold my bag closely. Did Cato's house get bigger? I ask myself. We hear a males voice calling for Cato.

"Come." Cato motions me to follow him. I nod and follow. We walked to his kitchen, where 3 men sat around a table. One was reading a book.

One was really tall and had glasses. He had albino hair with light green eyes. He was really skinny too. He looks like a teacher.

The one that had called for Cato was about the size of me, but maybe an inch taller. He had black hair with blonde streaks. He also had dark blue eyes. He had some weight on him but he is still considered skinny.

The last one had light brown hair with light green eyes. He was as skinny as Cato. I don't think he has abs. I thought.

"Ah, is this the lucky person you were having a drink with? She seems young!" The one with blonde streaks examines, coming close to me.

"Oh t-that's not it!" My face was extremely red. I was embarrassed. Cato ruffles my hair.

"Jinj, these are my roommates. One is upstairs though. Meet Clyde, Yuri, and Blake. Zuri is somewhere around here." Cato introduces. "And this young lady is Jinj. I was her caretaker when she was younger. She happened to have bumped into me on my way home. I treated her dinner so I hope you guys had something to eat."

Yuri , albino guy, walks over to me and shakes my hand. "Welcome, nice to meet you Jinj. My son is upstairs, I shall go get him." Yuri goes upstairs.

I look at the clock. Blake didn't speak a word. "8:50.." I say out loud. Blake shuts his book n sets it on the table, stretching. He looks at me as he stands. I feel someone grab my shoulders.

"Ahh!" I drop my bag and quickly grab the persons hand, twirling around the guy. I kick behind his knees, so he falls to the ground, and pins him against the floor. I hear him groan.

Pinned against the floor was a seventeen year old boy. He had albino hair and green eyes. He was skinny and around my height.

"I'm very sorry! I'm really, really sorry!" I apologize and get off of him. I help him up. Everyone laughs. Clyde fell to his knees from laughing so hard.

"Man.. Did you think I was a bad guy or something?" The boy asks. I bow in apology.

"I'm really sorry, Zuri? Cato taught me to take care of myself as I walk the world.." I explain.

Zuri and everyone else looks at Cato. "You left her all on her own?!" They all ask at the same time.

"You don't know everything. If you did you would understand..." I say while rubbing my arm.

"Here, sleep the rest of the night. You know where your room is." Cato says, handing me my bag. I slightly nod and take my bag. Cato pats my shoulders. I smile a bit and walk upstairs.
