The next day, Natsu woke up at 4:30am to start his regular routine in the morning. It would consists of 200 push-ups and sit-ups.

"Hey Happy."

"What is it Natsu?" Happy asked.

"Can you hand me a towel?" Natsu pointed at the one with flames.

"You want the one Lucy made?" Happy giggled a bit. "You love her." He commented with a tease.

"Happy!"

"I'm joking, I'm joking." He replied.

"When we get to the guild, let's stop by at Erza's place." Natsu said.

"Why Erza's?"

"Apparently, she wants me to pick something up. If I don't she said she'll tie me up and place me in a metal box with chains and place me on the Magnolia's Train."

"Uhh, I think you should do what she says..." Happy picked up his green bag.

Before Natsu headed over to Erza's place, he suddenly got a call from Lucy. She said it was urgent for him to come soon as he could.

She wants Natsu to be the first and last person to tell her secrets to.

Soon enough, they arrived at her house at 6:43am.

"Hello?" Natsu knocked.

"Coming just wait." Lucy said back.

Then the locks on her door clicked opened and she let them in.

"Hi Lucy." Happy greeted.

"Hello Happy." She exchanged a smile.

"So, why did you call us?" Natsu asked.

"I thought about what you said. And I'm going to tell you but I hope you don't hate me afterwards..." Lucy took a massive breath in and released.

"I'm leaving..Fairy Tail.." Lucy finally came out.

Natsu and Happy eyes widen by that comment.

"Whaaaa?!?" Natsu burst to his feet.

"You can't?!??"

"Whyyyy?" Happy cried in an instant. Then looked over at Natsu who was still in shock.

"Guys-"

"You can't leave Fairy Tail, you're apart of the guild! Our family! Things won't be the same!" Natsu tried to tone down.

"We love you Lucy, what did we do wrong?" Happy tears rivered.

"You.. You guys didn't do anything, it's my choice. I'm too weak to be in a strong guild like Fairy Tail." Lucy explained.

Natsu glanced at Lucy."Then I'll take that as an insult. Saying that you're weak when your obviously strong and committed like anyone else in the guild."

"Why are you leaving? The real Reason."

"Yahh...Why." Happy questioned.

Lucy sat there quietly.

"I'm leaving because I couldn't protect people that are dear to me. I'm unreliable, I tried my best to fight it. However, the results are the same. I can't fight it.

"Lucy..."

"Don't do that, don't Lucy me or anything.. This is already hard on me, I'll just feeling for guilty." Lucy said.

"Why couldn't you protect them?" Natsu questioned

"Like I said, I'm weak. They've been protecting me ever since I joined the guild. I couldn't even return the favor. The odds are stacked against me." Lucy plopped back on her bed.

"I want to cry.. But the tears won't come out. I've been crying too much-"

Natsu got up grabbed Lucy upwards and embraced her.

"Natsu -"

"It's fine if you want to the leave the guild.. It KILLS me that you want to leave! But letting you cry alone, that's something that needs to be fixed! Lucy I'm here for you!" Natsu didn't let go, he squeezed tighter.

Eventually, Lucy placed her arms around him."Thank you."

Happy came in too and hugged her.

"We will agree on whatever Lucy wants, because she is our comrade." Happy said.

Soon they let go. But now holding eachothers hand, having their left hand free.

Natsu spoke." Are you ever comming back?" He said trembling.

Lucy patted his pink fluffy hair.

"You bet on it." She replied.

"How long..." Natsu asked.

"I'm not sure, but I'll be back." Lucy responded

"Where to?"

"I'm not sure, I'll be close though, sometimes I'll visit."

"Do you have the money to travel?"

"Surprisingly, I do." She giggled.

"Are you leaving this apartment?" He asked.

"No, I think I'll leave my stuff here, until I get back, I'll rent it again." Lucy smiled.

"For you, Gray, Erza, to visit once and awhile. Team Natsu ." She added

Natsu couldn't hold it in, he was already blushing.

"Gray will be stripping, and there's no one to stop him." Natsu teased.

Lucy laughed

"Also, both Natsu and Gray, will be pervs and look at your panties."Happy added.

"Happy! I wouldn't do that-" millions of ideas swam through Natsu 's mind.

"Erza will be taking baths, eating cake and reading your past novels."

Lucy laughed more.

"I'll be eating fish. And laughing at Gray and Natsu when they destroy your apartment, when they fight."
Happy said.

"Natsu you better promise, you don't fight in my house."

He nodded.

"What will you be doing, Natsu ?" Lucy questioned.

Natsu sat there, looked down then stared into Lucy's brown eyes.

"I'll be waiting." Natsu gave Lucy a kiss on the cheek. "You better come back, or I'm going to search the ends of earth to find you."

Lucy face burned bright red.

She nodded. "I promise, I'll be back."
