Fairy Tail: Unbearable Truth

Meeting that day

(A couple of months back-present day)

Rielle walked past all the stands but was drawn by one particular one. She couldn't help herself, she bought herself some carrot cupcakes.

In the corner of her eye, she was a blonde being thrown out into the ally. She had to see what happen. She came upon her and held out her hand.

She looked up at her, scars whip marks, bruises covered her.

She refused her hand. Rielle couldn't waste her voice, so she gave her a cupcake.

"For me?" Se asked.

Rielle nodded her head. Then patted her head. She finally realized that she was Lucy Heartfilia from the Sorcerer Monthly Magazine. She was confused though, in the pictures she had a fairy tail insignia, but on her hand was a different guild mark.

She picked up her hand. She rubbed it back and forth. Lucy started to cry but kept it in. "So you've noticed.. I used to be apart of a different guild.."

Rielle listened to her. "I need to find my own strength. If I can't, I cannot return to Fairy Tail."

Rielle stood and the lift up a little bit of her corset that covered her mark.

"Fairy.. Tail..." Lucy said.

Rielle nodded. Then sat next to Lucy.

"I miss everyone..." Lucy sighed.

Rielle took out a book and started to write in it.

She then showed it to Lucy. "I'm a Celestial Mage." She replied. Rielle kept writing. "Your one too? But a Chinese zodiac key holder?"

She shook her head. Then wrote again, what she said was half correct. "Oh, so you have tattoos not keys.. You have all 13? Oh so the cat is included right?" Lucy questioned. She nodded her head.

"Are you an S-class?" Lucy asked.

She nodded her head. "Do you know Natsu ? Gray?"

She nodded her head frantically. Rielle placed her right hand on her heart. "You love them?"

Rielle wrote in her book. "There like your children? How old are you?" I'm 26."

"Your 34? You don't look old.. Well depends on what you look under that mask." Lucy pointed out.

Rielle pointed at her mask.

"You want me to see under that mask?"

She questioned. "If your face stays hidden for a reason I shouldn't.."

Rielle insisted. "Are you sure...?"

Se nodded her head. Rielle took off her mask and closed her eyes.

Lucy sat there terrified, shocked as well as speechless. "What....- I'm sorry!" Lucy apologized. She finally opened her eye and smiled.

"This scar, saved my family... Fairy tail. I don't regret getting this." Rielle finally spoke.

"S-so, you can talk... Your voice is beautiful..." Lucy said amazed.

"My magic... It's harmful, so I don't speak often." Rielle Explained.

"How did.. You get it- and you can just write it down!" She gave her, her book.

After she was done. She handed it back to Lucy. She took it and read, then her eyes widen in questioned. Feared expression.

"That's... Awful..." Lucy replied.

"It's a memory.. I'll keep. Something that will always haunt me." Rielle spoke again.

She looked over at Lucy again. "Don't say anything about my other magic." She smiled and placed her mask back in her face.

"Hurry up and fix your mistakes, I bet the guilds waiting." Rielle lastly said and vanished.

Lucy stood there stunned.

Then the back door creaked open.

"Are you ready to come back?"

Lucy nodded her head. "Yes. Please train me more."

She didn't know if it was fake or not, but her trainer gave a slight smile which calmed her.
