Fairy Tail: Unbearable Truth

The Return

Everyone waited anxiously for the news about Lucy's Trial. Natsu, as well as Rielle, Erza, Mira, and Makarov attended. 

The unsettling fear and anxiety about the fate of a guild member worried them despite Lucy's three year disappearance. Finally, Makarov came through the guild door's first.

Everyone came rushing with questions once they saw the others as well.

"So?" Elfman said first.

"Lucy is innocent and she is free to go." Mira said.

Everyone fell into relief and comforted each other.

"However, she is under house arrest for a week." Erza added.

"What?" Levy said.

"No one can visit her, for the time being." Makarov waved his hand, "and I mean no one. We were able to reduce the punishments and this is only fair."

Everyone started talking over each other. 

"Hush down Brats, you can see her when she's released from house arrest okay?" He face-palmed.

"Aye... Sir..." Happy said

"It can't be helped." Said Lily.

"But I wanted to see, Lucy..." Happy added.

Lucy sat on her bed, she had nothing to do but feel the guilt and regret. She thought to herself, maybe it was a mistake. Maybe she should of said something rather then getting Natsu involved with this.

Plue walked in circles, shivering and looking up at Lucy whenever she sighed.

A knocking and clicking sound came from behind her. "Natsu?!" Lucy opened the window to let him in.

"What are you doing?!-"

Natsu jumped in and embraced her, not letting go until he was satisfied.

"I've waited..." He said holding back his tears.

"Natsu you can't be here! If they find out-" 

When he embraced her more tightly, she could help but to drop her words short. Instead she hugged him back and accepted the moment. " I'm sorry..." Lucy started to get emotional.

The past few minutes was endless sobbing, but tears of joy.

"Natsu, I missed you." She said.

"Same. Your really something."

"What do you mean?" She said wiping her tears.

"Leaving evidence behind. Your fox key." He said handing it to Lucy.

"I-"

Before Lucy could say anything, Natsu went in for a kiss. It was a long one especially for Lucy's first kiss.

When Natsu finally let go, he said," I want this kiss to be your first and last one."

Lucy tears rivered, she was speechless.

Everything felt like a dream... One she did not wish to wake up to.

"Your guild mark..." Natsu pointed out.

"I'll redo it... I'll start over." Lucy smiled. "I'll make sure, I'll never watch it burn off again. Not ever." She swore.
