An announcement came over the loud speaker.
"Hello students! Make sure to dress up formal to dinner tonight. We have a special assembly...and a little welcome surprise for you!" Said a cheerful lady. She sounded like Ms. Hoop. Me and Haley were just chilling in our dorm. We get an hour to hang out before dinner.
"So what are you wearing for dinner tonight?" Haley asked.
"I'm not sure. Have any clue on what Logan would like?" I hoped she knew who Logan was. Maybe she could get me some info about him.
"Logan Stevens or Logan Soaps?"
"Stevens...I think. He has hazel eyes and dark brown hair."
"Girl. Please. How do you get all of these hot guys to like you?" She asked while she flailed her arms crazily. Classic Haley.
"Not sure. It kind of helps that the whole school is filled with hot guys!" I said with a shrug.
"Well...knowing Logan, he likes classic. Oh! And that reminds me! He really likes more hipster stuff I guess. But he likes lace," Haley informed me.
"How the heck do you know so much about all of these people?" Does he work for he government?!
"Hun, I've been here for years. And besides...my room mate dated him last year. She was such a bitch! She broke his heart for Dustin...things didn't work out between them either. Guess who's single this year?" She said as we laughed.
"Show me all of your dresses," she demanded.
"Let's see...I have these two," I told her. I pulled out two dresses. One was a short, blue dress that had a hole in the back in the shape of a heart. The other was a black dress that had long lace sleeves and it buttoned up in the front.
"I'd say the blue one...but the black one is more formal. Partying? The blue...definitely. But classic? The black one is pretty hot," she said.
"Okay, so black it is," I said as I quickly slipped it on in the bathroom.
"What do you think about curly hair?" I asked her.
"DEFINATELY. Do you know the Ariana Grande hair style? Where it's like half up and half down? That's cute. But I can't do it...I'm horrible with a curler..." Haley admitted. With how good she is with fashion and braiding...you'd think she could do anything with hair and clothes!
"Ariana Grande look? I'll try it," I said with a shrug. I'm GREAT with hair. Tell me to do anything with hair, and I can do it! I quickly parted my hair and put half of my hair up in a pony tail. I twirled and curled my hair and then my pony. I inserted a baby pink bow at the top of the pony and I was set.
"You're make up is fine. Now let's go!" She said as she magically appeared with a hot pink cocktail dress. How does she do it? Well...I won't question her style!
I was so excited to see Logan! Haley and I just entered the outside patio and saw people in beautiful dresses and guys in suits. There was a whole line of food and a whole line of desserts on long white tables. There was a red carpet running through the middle of patio and fancy tables and chairs with gold sheets on them. And to top it all off, there were lines of paper lanterns hanging above the place that were white and gold.
"Welcome to the first academy welcome party! The theme is white and gold, obviously. Please, get seated and have some time to socialize. Your curfew is increased to 11:30 tonight!" Ms. Hoop announced. Yeah, I really like this school!
"Oh my gosh! This is presh!" Haley squealed in my ear. Some tables were for two, others for three, and others for four people.
"There you are!" Logan said as he came over with a glass of punch for me and a glass for him. He's too sweet.
