CHANDLER RIGGS
Y/N SAT ON her couch, waiting for her boyfriend Chandler to come over. She was nervous, more than nervous about it because things had not been good latley.
She was starting to feel his feelings fading for her, that something was wrong in between them and it made her heart break more everytime she thought about it.
A knock on her front door, made her body jump. She gently called out
"Come in." And then she heard the door close, not a hello or something like that, just silence as he walked over to her and sat down next to her.
"Hey" his voice was low and raspy, like he hadn't spoken in awhile or more like he was hesitation to say something.
"Can I ask you something?" Y/N asked gently, her legs pulled up against her chest. She was now looking at him, seeing him give her a small nod.
"What happend?" She said "with us"
"What do you mean?"
"Everything was good between us right?" Chandler nodded at her question "what changed?"
"I don't know" he said "time I guess."
Time? Really? It took almost a year for us to even get together Chandler! And it was not the most happy road towards it either. And then eight months is all we get?"
"What do you want me to say, Y/N? I don't always have the anwsers you know!" Chandler said, standing up from his spot on the couch.
"I know you don't!" Y/N said, standing up "but I don't know where it all went wrong! What did I do wrong?
"I don't know! Damn it don't you understand anything?!" All of Y/N anger and worry suddenly disappeared in a second, looking at her boyfriend that she loved with all her heart, her boyfriend that looked at her with anger and tiredness; a look he had never given her before.
"Do you even love me anymore, Chandler?" Her voice got lower as she looked into his eyes.
Chandler stayed quiet for a few seconds, moving some of his brown hair out of his eyes and starting to pace back and forth.
"I do love you, Y/N." He said and stopped pacing, now looking at her instead. "I just don't think I am in love with you anymore."
His words broke her heart, shatterad in to pieces. Pain came across her face and body language instantly, tears slowly forming in her eyes.
Once Chandler saw her reaction, regret instantly filled his body and heart.
"Y/N-" he began but she shoke her head, moving her hand up to silence him.
"Don't." She said "get out, I don't want to see you."
Chandler tried to move towards her but she backed away, tears now rolling down her cheeks silently.
"Get out!"
In shame and filled with regret, Chandler made his way towards the door. He looked at her before walking out and hated the scene he saw. Y/N was sitting on the door, crying violently.
He didn't want to hurt her, he never wanted that. But that's exactly what he did and he hated himself for it.
And once he closed the door behind him, he heard her sobs and his heart broke. He looked back once more at the door and said one last word before leaving her.
"Goodbye."
