Jake Peralta's POV
I walked into the precinct, late as usual, making my way over to my desk I noticed that Amy wasn't there.
"Serge?" I called out for Terry
"Yes Peralta?" He said walking over to my desk
"Where's Amy?" I questioned
"She should be here, I spoke to her on the way in this morning" terry replied, concerned.
"She's in the break room" a familiar voice said from behind me. I turned around to see Rosa looking badass like normal. She doesn't even have to try!
"Thanks Rosa, I'll go see" I replied standing up and walking over to the break room.
I put my head around the corner of the door before walking in.
"Hey, ma'am. Have you seen Detective Santiago?"
The woman turned around, her hair so frizzy and grey strands stuck out, her shirt was untucked and lipstick over her lip line...
"Oh my god!" I jumped in shock "Amy?" I raised my eyebrow.
"Ugh don't look at me, I'm such a mess" Amy replied.
"What happened Ames?"
"I let the stress from the wedding get to me Jake! Look, I even have a grey hair" she said pulling one of he grey hairs in front of her eyes.
"What happened to no stress?" I sighed, pulling her in for a hug.
"I can't help it, everything needs to be planned and all I've done is write down one location for the wedding" Amy sobbed into my shoulder.
"What's the location?" I asked curiously.
"A cruise ship" Amy sighed, yet again. "It's a stupid idea..."
"Amy Santiago..you are a genius!" An idea had snapped in my head. I have to make this work out.
"Huh?" Amy said pulling away from my shoulder.
"Don't you worry, I know someone who works on a cruise ship and can get us a wedding booking" I said with excitement.
"You really think it'll work?" Amy said with a look of disbelief on her face.
"I know it'll work. Now go to the bathroom and sort yourself out. I've got some planning to do!"
