"Have you ever wondered about... your future?" Mother Joana asks me in gentle tone and looks at me carefully, as I shake my head.
"No, why?" I ask her, a bit confused.
"Nothing." She grins at me and shakes her head with knowing smile.
Ever since that day it has become harder for me to avoid Theon. He is everyone I look at. He has been following me and every time i look at him, I can feel my heart rate fastening.
His smiles are the worst. Every time he notices me, staring at him, he would smile his irresistible, I-Am-So-Sorry smile at then you are swept from the ground, floating in the air. It happened to me. So, I know.
And as it turns out... he is the only one, who can calm me down whenever I lose control. And it doesn't happen often. Only once, in the day of wedding. But they are still scared of me.
"Bianca?" The velvet voice fills my ears and forces me to turn back. "How are you?" Renly asks me in soft voice and smiles.
"Have been better." I lie to him and force myself to smile. "So, what's up?" I ask him in order to get the conversation going, but with no such luck.
"Nothing much." He grins and shakes his head. We have been through this. He is never ready to ask whatever his question is. "I... You know that I want you ask you something, don't you?" I nod with small smile and he sighs. "I... I have been wondering if it was the reason Melissandre mas scared of you." He asks me with wide eyes and I gulp.
I wasn't waiting for something like this. But partly, yes. This is one of the reasons.
"One of them. Yes." I answer truthfully and smile. "Listen, Renly." I start with a sigh and sit on the nearest armchair. He sits next to me, but keeping a distance. "I have been through... a lot." I whisper with memories swirling in my head. "This... magic... is one of them. And it isn't the only reason why The Red Lady is scared of me." I roll my eyes dramatically and smile. "She has seen me. She has heard gossips about me, which are mostly true. But, she knows who I am and that scares her."
"And who are you?" He asks me again and I shrug.
"I don't know." I smile. I really don't know. "I have never thought about it. Strange things just would keep happening to me and I wasn't able to explain them. I couldn't understand I had powers before my... tribe was gone. And yes, I have fought the army of frozen people and... I have seen them fall. Renly... I am sure that soon, we will have to face problems greater than wars between kings."
"And what would that be?" Renly smirks, not taking my warning seriously.
"Others." I whisper in low and cold tone. My voice even makes shivers run down my spine. I can imagine how he must be feeling right now. But he has to know. They are alive and they are back.
And they surely want us.
