It's time. This is going to be the moment where I, Cyrus Goodman, use every ounce of my influence to create the ultimate friend group.
I'm done with splitting my time with my friends when I could easily be with them all at once. This could easily go well or horrible, it depends.
Me: andi, we need to have a party
andi: sure, you and buffy can come over
Me: amber and jonah too
andi: what?
andi: they hate me
Me: they dont
andi: okay fine. i will talk to bex and bowie give me a couple minutes
The plan has been set in motion, this is going to be fantastic. While waiting for Andi to answer my phone buzzes.
amber: im ready to tell you who it is
I'm so proud of my child that is older than me.
amber: its iris
Okay, I wasn't expecting that however.
Me: amber!!
Me: i'm so proud of you! and iris is definitely a wondeful candidate for your affections. i know, i dated her
amber: dont rub it in
Me: right, right
amber: shes just so pretty and nice and i just want to burst into tears every time im near her
Me: relatable
amber: dont you dare tell anyone
Me: promise
amber: alright i have got to go eat cu later
I am actually so proud of her I just want to give her a big hug and make her feel so happy that she explodes.
andi: alright. i talked to them. the party is tomorrow at 7. see you there <3

"It's party time!" Jonah exclaims, knocking on Andi's door. I'm so thankful he agreed to come.
The music inside is so loud I can hear it clearly from her porch. I hope everything goes well.
Andi comes to the door and escorts us in. I look around and see everyone here. Amber, Iris, Buffy, Marty, Bex, Bowie, Andi, obviously, and a handful of other random people.
I let go of Jonah's hand and run over to the music. I pause it and everyone just looks at me like I'm insane.
"Everyone pair up," I command. They all look at me with confused faces. "Pair up with someone to dance with."
Amber picks Iris, Buffy and Marty obviously choose each other, Andi goes with some boy I've never seen before, Bowie and Bex also go together, which I would hope so since they are the only adults here, and Jonah walks over to me. What a cutie, he's like a little puppy.
