February 1547
King Francis was dying. Princess Elisabeth was already in Denmark/Norway and the betrothed of Prince Louis was arriving from Spain in 2 weeks. Queen Mary of Scotland was in hiding in the French country. A few days later King Francis died and Prince Charles was declared King of France.
Anne returned to England and lived out the rest of her days in Hever Castle. Her father was dead, her sister lived in London and her brother lived at court all the time and never came home.
