The jeeps circled the two helpless aircraft, who had already been spotted by the two Typhoons in the air.
"Alright Jeremy, I need you to act as bait, dive and fly past them but don't open fire then pull up and hide above the clouds, while they are shooting you I'll come down and pick them off with the cannon, do not use missiles."
"Copy that." Jeremy radioed.
Jeremy rolled over and fired up his afterburners to catch the Russian's attention, all guns were on Jeremy, Jeremy was rolling, turning and speeding with other evasive manoeuvres to throw them off, Ben flew past Jeremy's front missing him by a few centimeters, Ben hit two jeeps in the fuel tank, the shockwave of the explosions blasted out all of the jeeps.
"Nice shot, Ben." Jeremy complimented.
Ben and Jeremy spotted a large grass airfield where they could temporarily land near to the downed aircraft.
They landed and got out their jets but a farmer who owned the land came running to them.
"Hey, You can't just land here, you have to pay a fee to land here!"
Ben pointed to the RAF logo on his flight suit.
"We're in the air force if you couldn't tell mate, Don't question."
The farmer looked dumbfounded at them, the two pilots ran in the direction where the two planes crashed.
"Dusty, Ember!"
Ben and Jeremy were both shouting at different times as they got closer to them,
"Dusty!" Ben shouted, "What happened? Say something."
He got no response from either, Jeremy spoke up, "Are they....?"
Ben looked at Jeremy, "I can't see how they would be dead, the damage on them isn't too bad and they are both in one piece."
Distant sirens and blue flashing lights were heard and seen in the distance heading towards them.
"Shit, it's the police." Jeremy said.
Ben looked up to see marked and unparked police cars heading towards them, probably because of the explosions and the low flying made by the Typhoons, someone must of seen and reported it from a distance.
The police had pulled up and got out, fortunatley none of them seemed to have recognised the orange plane next to the two pilots.
The lead officer stated, "You two jokers care to explain what's going on here?"
Ben responded, "We're the air force, we follow orders and we had the authentication to do what you probably saw."
The police man glared at him.
"I'm not on about that, I'm on about that."
The police man pointed at the two crashed planes, he had noticed their eye lids on the canopies.
Ben had to stand his ground, "They are none of your concern, I suggest you leave."
The police man who Ben noticed was the head constable, "I don't have to leave, I am here to investigate, now you better answer my questions."
Jeremy stepped in, "Do you want to say that to the Prime Minister?"
The head constable got out his phone, "Sure thing."
-------
"Prime Minister speaking."
The head constable started, "G'day Ma'am, I have two RAF pilots, their names are Ben and Jeremy, they are refusing to answer questions about an orange and silver plane."
The Prime Minister's eyes widened.
"They are none of your concern, leave that area immediatley, You are not to speak of what you have just seen, if I hear you have you will be met with force."
The Prime Minsiter hung up.
-------
Ben looked at the starteled police man and shrugged his shoulders, He slowly backed away to his car and twisseled his finger in the air to signal the other police at the scene to leave.
Jeremy scoffed, "Well, we're screwed, one of them's going to let the word out, I just know they will, how are we even meant to get these two back anyway."
Ben sighed, "We'll have to get search and rescue to take them back to the base."
------
Two hours later, Search and rescue arrived with two helicopters, both holding one in a net and had took them back and released them by the hanger, where the same mechanic as before was waiting for them.
It was almost daylight but Ben and Jeremy were both still tired and were about to go to bed when the CO had came to them.
"What happened out there?" He asked with a very serious tone in his voice.
Jeremy replied, "They went flying out....on their own while we were asleep, we went out to find them but when we did, They were just...on the ground, dented and pouring with smoke, with twelve Russian jeeps closing in on them, how those jeeps got into England I will have no idea, so Ben managed to take them out and we landed in a field near them but when we got to them the police had arrived and he called the prime minister but fortunatley the PM told the police to leave them alone and to not speak about it."
The CO looked at him, "I see."
"Anyway." The CO told them, "We have got a plan to return them home, we plan to escort them into North Korean air space, Kim Jon Un the idiot told us that even if we crossed their border they would open fire on us, so we will have to go in with force, while we're there we'll try to take out Kim with an airstrike, Trump had said he will help and send us fifteen F-22 raptors which should significantly help us during the mission, now, The problem is whether we should arm.....Dusty and Ember or not, They would only have machine guns on their wings for self defence but we are not sure whether we should as they would not have time to be trained, we would give them heat-seeking missiles but their designed aren't compatiable for them, once you get to the portal you two will guide them in and once Dusty and Ember enter it, the portal should close....for good, we'll give you any updates if we get them."
The CO walked off back to his office.
"So." Ben turned towards the mechanic, "How are they doing?"
"Ember is fine, Just a few dents....But Dusty" The mechanic sighed.
"What?" Jeremy asked.
"Dusty was the one pouring with smoke earler as you said and now he is barley alive...in fact he's just.....stopped breathing."
