Chapter 20

The sweat seemed to leak out of every part of my body.

"Take 5," I said stopping to breathe.

"Thank god," Cody breathed out, dropping to the floor.

I took a water from the refreshment table then took a sip.

"Hey now Simpson, I could make you go way harder," I said.

I instantly cringed at what I said because I knew Cody had thought of an innuendo.

"No that's quite alright," Cody said.

Oh thank god he didn't say anything.

I looked over at the clock and saw that it was 7pm already.

"You know what guys just call a quits. We've been at it for 12 hours now. See you guys tomorrow," I said.

"Wow I'm amazed you're actually letting us stop," Julian said trying to catch his breath.

I rolled my eyes.

They act like I put them through a military boot camp.

"Oh boo hoo," I said.

Julian laughed and threw a smile my way. The dancers gathered their stuff then left in a hurry. They probably were afraid that I would change my mind.

Soon it was only Cody and I left in the room. He was still on the floor cooling off.

"Hey babe come over here," he yelled.

"Oh Cody I don't think TMZ heard you. Mind shouting that a little louder," I said walking over to him.

Cody rolled his eyes with a playful smirk. I sat Indian style next to him and proceeded to check my various social media accounts.

"How are you feeling?" Cody asked placing his head in my legs.

I knew he was referring to the previous nights shenanigans.

Honestly my privates hurt like a bitch still but the pain was doable.

"I'm okay. Just a little sore," I said playing with his hair. I ran my hands through his hair as his eyes fluttered close.

We sat in silence for a while before his parents came.

We gathered our stuff then headed out of the dance studio.

"Let's go to a party tonight," Cody said.

"Where at," I asked stopping before the exit door.

Cody furrowed his eyebrows, deep in thought.

"Let's just find a random one," he decided.

"You better not be planning to get me drunk and go for round two," I said smirking.

Cody brought my hand up to his lips and kissed it.

"Oh my sweet Kaitlynn, this love will be my down fall," he said.
