The Thug Life chose me"
Coming March 19thPart 6
Later that day
Thomas sat in the office until he saw his father walk in talking to the principle. They both walked into the room Thomas was in, Johnny looked disappointed.
"I'm sorry dad." Thomas said.
"We'll talk when we get home." Johnny said taking his son and walking out the school.
Johnny and Thomas both got in the car, There was nothing but silence the whole ride home. Thomas knew he was in trouble but he has to make sure that his father heard his side of the story first before he gave it to him. Johnny finally made it back home. They both walked in the house. Thomas put his book bag down sitting on the couch.
"Now you know I'm about to tell you to get in that room and hand over all your electronics and toys." Johnny said.
"I can explain!" Thomas said to Johnny.
"Son, you got me leaving work to get your little ass from school, so now I'm missing out on work and money because you want to fight and shit."
"Dad I wasn't just fighting for nothing!"
"Then tell me why you were acting a fool in the middle of the day."
"It's this older boy in our school name james, he always messing with Harold. Today I don't know, I just got tired of seeing him bully my friend so I fought him. You always said to only fight when I'm defending myself or someone else. I was defending my friend from a bully. I shouldn't be punished for that dad.”
Johnny sighed, walking over to his son standing next to him.
"You right son, I did say that and You wasn't fighting for no reason you were fighting for the defense of your friend." Johnny said.
They both were quiet for second.
“Look, what you did was for a good reason so, I wont punish you that bad but fighting in school is still not acceptable so you can come out of your room, but no TV or video games for two weeks.”
"It sucks but that's fair." Thomas said wise beyond his years but he can thank his dad for that.
