Luke's POV

I rushed into hospital, as I had been alerted of Ashton's car crash.

"Hi, can you tell me Where Ashton Irwin is being held?" I asked quickly, my palms sweating.

"Yep! Just sign in right here." The lady at the desk pointed to a clipboard lying on the desk.

I grabbed the pen, signing the paper and adding the phone number.

"Ashton's being held in Room C13." The lady, Cassie as her nametag read, told me.

I quickly thanked her, almost sprinting down the hallways to find Room C13.

"Luke! Slow down!" Michael shouted, practically chasing me.

"Luke!" Michael shouted again, still gaining no answer.

"C5...I must be close," I thought.

"Luke, my gosh," spoke Michael, grabbing my arm to stop me from walking any further. "Slow down when I tell you to. You could get injured from running."

"Let me go!" I yelled, trying to get free of Michael's grasp.

"No! Luke, you need to calm down. Ashton will be fine. Plus, the band doesn't need both of you in the hospital." Michael sternly answered, looking me right in the eyes.

"But I need to see him!" I pleaded, tears slowly forming in my eyes.

"Luke, you can see him," He spoke in a soft tone, "But you need to slow down. His room is right there."

He let go of my arm, avoiding eye contact with me.

"Did I just hurt him?" I asked myself.

I quickly turned around to face the door that held my lover, Ashton.

C13, the sign read.

Looking back at Michael, I could tell he was scared of what was behind that door. His green eyes told his emotion, showing subtle, perplexing fear.

I slowly pushed the door in front of me open, waiting for what I was about to see.

With the door fully open, I walked inside and looked around. There were so many tubes connected to Ashton, vital in keeping him alive.

I stood there, paralyzed with fear, just as Michael was.

I snapped out of my daze, noticing that Calum shook me. "Luke," he said, "It's okay, it's just me."

"Wh-what if-" "No! Ash will be fine, Luke." His brown eyes pierced mine, sharing the feeling of fear, but hidden under collapsing strength.

Calum pushed me a little, forcing me to step into the slightly humid room that held Ashton.

"A-Ashton?" I called out, not expecting an answer, and not getting one. Ashton was sound asleep on the bed, his chest rising and falling every few seconds.

Walking towards him, I noticed the slight disturbance in his face. I moved stray hairs out of it, feeling his body temperature.

"Ash.." I whispered, grabbing hold of his limp hand.

"Nng." Ashton made a noise, his eyes fluttering open.

"Ash! You're...you're awake!" I shouted, shaking.

"Wh-who...who are you?"

"I wish that I could wake up with amnesia."
