Brother

(Crystal)

Just as I fished getting dressed after a relaxing shower there was a knock on our door.

"Sophia. Can you get the door?"

"Got it."

Instead of wearing my usual lounge clothes, I changed into a warm jumper and jeans.

I walked into the kitchen, avoiding the living room.

"Sophia, who is it?"

"Bangtan."

I chocked on my words, "Did you give them our address?"

"I gave it to Jimin. He said he wanted to come round. He never said that there would be others."

"I really hate you. But we have guests so I will kill you later."

Sophia shrugged as I left to the living room.

"Brother."

Taehyung looked up shocked.

"Crystal. I'm surprised you recognise me."

"Why? You have barely changed since your... leave." I saw Jimin looking uneasy. "And why did you bring him. Anyone I don't know for that matter." I snapped.

"I-I-I... Crystal, I'm sorry. I didn't know, honestly. If I had known then I wouldn't have, I swear."

"Forget it Jimin. She still the same. I do admire your good heart, but it's a waste of time trying to apologize to her."

"No it isn't. It isn't because Jimin is a good friend of mine who actually cares unlike you. Taehyung."

Everyone else watched back and forth as we argued and poor Jimin was stuck in the middle and youngest JungKook looked very confused.

"OK. Everybody calm down. There's no point in fighting."

I sighed as RM took control. Jimin called me over to sit with him and JungKook. I didn't hesitate since they were my friends. But I only made a move after Tae. I don't like being the first one to back out.

Jimin placed his hand on my shoulder and I nodded to tell him I'm fine along with a weak smile.

"Why are you here anyway?"

"JungKook and Jimin wanted to visit you and insisted that we come to see you."

"Why?"

"Something about making friends and stuff. When those two put their minds together they are very persuasive." One of the others said.

"Oh C. I almost forgot. I need to introduce you to the boys." Jimin said placing his arm around me.

I flinched at his gesture but relaxed after choosing not to shove him again.

He pointed at RM. "That's Namjoon, Yoongi, Jin and Hoseok."

"Nice to meet you all." I smiled. "Would you all like me to fetch something for you while I'm in the kitchen. Drinks? Snacks?"

Nothing.

I went into the kitchen to find one of the team in the kitchen.

"Ollie? What are you doing here?"

"Oh. Hi C. I need to discuss something with you about-"

"Don't. There here. And Tae is with them."

"What!" I grabbed my cousin before he raced into the living room.

"Are you insane? You can't just race in there and have a go at him. There are others as well."

"Sh*t."

"Language." Sophia scolded him.

I sighed. "Come. I'll introduce you to the gang. Oh and Ollie, some of them are my friends."

"What!"

"Long story."

I walked Ollie into the living room.

"Oh Tae. I don't know if you recognise him but this is -"

"Ollie!" Tae got up and gave him a hug. "You haven't changed a bit since I last saw you."

I left those two to bond while I sat back down with Jimin.

"Who is Ollie?"

"My cousin. He and Tae were best mates."

"Were?"

"Tae left home a few years ago and those two haven't been in contact. Only Ollie and I ever kept in touch."

"Oh. I'm sorry to hear that you and your brother weren't close." JungKook joined the conversation.

I was so lucky to have some nice friends like them.

When they were done Ollie turned to go.

"Stay for a bit Ollie. You're more than welcome to." I offered. JungKook shifted to make room for him next to me and I gave him a grateful smile.

I introduced him to everyone and surprisingly he got along fine with everyone.

He leaned over to me.
"You should hook-up with Jimin. You suit each other perfectly." He gave me a winning grin.

I coughed. "Excuse me. No. Besides he is the enemy and why does everyone think that?"

"You look cute together. Trust me."

"No I don't trust you.  Now shut up. I think we're going to have a nice chat."

"OK. C I do believe that you have heard of the celebration coming soon, right?"

"Of course. Why?"

"We were wondering if you were going to attend the event."

"Me. No. Besides I heard that it  mainly consists of gangs. As much as I know there will be a truce between the gangs I don't want to risk it. I hope you understand?"

"Of course. Same for you as well Ollie?" My brother surprisingly said.

"Yeah. I'm the same."

"Well I'm sorry time hear that neither of you will be able to make it."

"Of course. I hope you enjoy yourselves at the party." I replied.

"Your brother has changed I guess." Jimin leant towards me so the others couldn't hear.

"What makes you say that?"

"The look on your face when he apologised."

"Oh." I blushed realising how obvious I must have made that.

"Well thank you for the hospitality but we must be going. I hope we meet again soon."

RM and Taehyung walked on towards the door while the others quickly exchanged numbers with me and Ollie. Jimin reluctantly removed his arm from around me after a quick squeeze and walks off with his mates.

As soon as the door closes Ollie turns to me.

"Why aren't you going?"

"Because Scar is taking my place."
