Truce? pt1

Jimin held out his hand to me.

"RM's a little busy. Wanna dance in he meantime?"

I looked from his open hand to him and back again.

"Your really not worried about me being a rival and a threat? You really won't feel a sense of betrayal to your team doing it?"

He waited for me to continue. I didn't.

"No. It's only a harmless dance. To pass the time."

I hesitated. Then I stood and slipped my hand into his.

"Remember. This was your idea."

"Point taken."

(Jimin)

I thought she was going to turn me down for sure. When she hesitated I felt like an idiot. I was so happy when she slipped her hand into mine.

I led her over to a less crowded spot on the dance floor. I slipped my right hand around her waist and pulled her closer. She gasped.

Now it was my turn to smirk. I was loving this a since it was way out her comfort zone.

She placed her hand on my shoulder and grabbed my left hand. She has some courage.

I had specifically chosen to dance with her on a slow song. I wanted to make this moment last.

I lent forwards and whispered, "outside your comfort zone Scar?"

"In your dreams."

"Dreams can come true you know."

"What do you want."

"To finish what we started."

I lent forward to kiss her.

Just as my lips grazed hers she seemed to come to her senses and she shoved me, hard, away from her.

I stumbled but didn't fall. I approached her again and she seemed ready to run. I laughed. She froze.

"Still want to deal with a truce? Or did I just change your mind?"

(Crystal)

"No. Meet me back at the table. Bring RM."

I walked back to the table shaking.

I found Ollie and Sophia there.

"What happened to you?" Ollie asked as I sat down.

"Jimin nearly kissed me. He asked me to dance and tried to kiss me."

"You should've kissed him." Sophia whined.

"And betray my team? No. Maybe if there is a truce then yes. Just not now. How's your date going by the way."

"Good."

"Awsome. Look I need you to go. Jimin's bringing RM to talk about the truce and I can't be seen with you otherwise it will blow my cover."

"Got it. Come on  Sophia. Leave Scar alone. I don't want you to get hurt."

Bye. Good luck with the truce. Ollie mouthed.

Thanks. I mouthed back.

Just as they left Jimin came back to the table with RM.

"Glad you accepted my invite. Have a seat." I said, straightening my posture.

They both sat opposite me. I avoided all eye contact with Jimin. I was still trying to work out what happened on the dance floor.

"What do you want Scar? Why are you talking to us here and now?"

"Isn't it obvious RM? Any other time and you wouldn't have listened. All you want is to finish us and find out who I am. Here however, well you can't touch me, can you?"

"You still have one question to answer."

"Aah. Yes. What do I want? Did your friend Jimin not tell you what I told him before I left? Pity." I smiled, I wasn't the only one keeping secrets.

"Jimin. What is she talking about?"

Jimin shot me a glare before sighing in regret. Revenge is sweet.

"When you started looking for me she stopped and I threatened that we would eventually find out who she is. She just laughed and said: 'I've known for a while. But without a truce. I have no reason to. And you have no right to.' I came to ask her what she meant but she wanted to talk to you about it."

So guilty. I could almost feel sorry for Jimin but since he tried to kiss me, I simply couldn't.

"A TRUCE?! Are you mad?! You are our rivals. There can never be a truce between us!" RM exploded.

"Now, now. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Just hear me out. Look why are we your rivals? Not counting the fact that you keep trying to kill us."

"Because... because -"

"Exactly. You don't know. Look, we don't go after people like you. If we did we would left you for Midnight Moon. But we didn't."

"WHAT!? You knew we would be there?"

"Well we were tracking the gang and they led us to you. Good acting wasn't it?"

"Wait-"

"That doesn't matter. We aren't as ruthless as you think. We only target wrong-doers. We only put you on our radar because we're on yours."

RM was speechless and Jimin was so shocked he looked as if he been living a lie.

My watch suddenly went off.

"I'll let that info settle in. And let you think about my offer. I'll be back in a bit."

I walked off to answer the call.

(Jimin)

I could not believe anything that had just happened.

"RM. Should we trust her. If she is telling the truth then we should give the truce a chance."

"Enough. She probably wants us on her side so she has less enemies meaning it will be easier to get rid of us."

"About that night RM.  I didn't reveal that she was a girl. She did. She showed me that she was a girl. Maybe she did that to give us more reason to trust her."

"Maybe. But I'm not trusting her until I know who she is."

"Should we just say? We will only accept the truce if she shows who she is."

"We will see."
