Secret grove

My friend and I quickly left to meet JungKook and his new anonymous friend.

I guess business will have to wait. And so will Bangtan.

I squared my shoulders and walked out to find JungKook waiting outside. Talking to a boy who must be his friend. Gosh his friend is so cute.

JungKook saw us and gave us a huge smile. You know what? I take what I said back. JungKook is nothing like my ex. He is much nicer and better.

We walked over and Sophia squealed when she saw his friend. She grabbed my arm and yanked me aside. I gave JungKook a look of apology and turned to Sophia.

"What on earth-"

"Did you see his friend. You have got to hook up with him."

"No. I have enough trouble trying to keep track of Bangtan. I don't need a love life. Or as I call it. A distraction."

"Fine. But you have to admit that he is sooooo cute."

"OK. He is adorable. But I am not admitting anything else."

She gave me the sly grin and I whacked my forehead.

"Come on my crazy friend."

We walked back over to the boys.

"Sorry about the delay. My friend Sophia can get nervous when meeting new people."

"No problem. Crystal, Sophia, this is my friend Park Jimin. Jimin, this is Crystal, the girl I told you about, and her friend Sophia."

Jimin held out his hand to me and then Sophia, "pleasure."

"Same here."

"Same."

Jimin flashed us both a brilliant smile. I froze and Sophia's jaw dropped.

Honestly. You would that being part of a gang would give her more courage and a longer attention span not a shorter one. But when it comes to the job, she is on a role.

"OK. So we're here. Where are we going?"

"Well there is this place..."
JungKook was cut off by Jimin saying something in what must be Korean.

"Oh. All right. Change of plans. Can't tell you girls though. It's a surprise."

When we drew near the place and finished crossing roads Jimin put his arm around me and JungKook did the same with Sophia.

Sophia looked perfectly content with it but I grabbed Jimin's arm and threw him away. He stumbled in shock but stayed standing.

"Pretty strong. Still you need to relax. We did say it was a surprise didn't we? So we need you to close your eyes and not hurt yourself. That's all."

I immediately felt bad and this time let him put his arm around me, obediently closing my eyes, trusting him. Not fully but still trusting. Then we turned and he grabbed me before I went skidding down a slope. I gripped his shirt and kept my eyes closed tightly.

I adjusted and lent into him slightly so I was less likely to fall.

Then they told us to open our eyes and the scene in front of us was beautiful.

I was really enjoying the walk. Well when the girls had their eyes closed. Of course I chose to lead Crystal.

Man that girl is hot.

No Jimin focus. You have other things to do than think about her.

But she's strong to.

There are plenty of strong girls.

Focus.

I loved how she had grabbed me in fear but still did not open her eyes. She'd even lent into me as we were walking down the slope.

So cute. I need to stop daydreaming before I walk into a tree.

We should really be with the rest of Bangtan but they gave us a break. Yippee.

I just hope that the Demons don't show up while it's just the two of us and a couple of girls.

Anyway. I told JungKook about the change of venue last minute. Now it was a small picnic in a grove on a small nearby wood. The grove was where we would camp out as teens. It had a freashwater stream, alive with fish. It was home to some very friendly deer and foxes, even wolves. And to make sure the stream didn't overflow with fish it had lots of fish-eating birds that come for a buffet.

It was a beautiful place. That's why I wanted to bring our new friends here.

I was really starting to warm up to the boys. The picnic was wonderful as well. I wish I had directions to this grove.  I would never leave it.

But we had to. We had to close our eyes as the boys led us back. I don't know for sure but I think Jimin purposely let go of me so I tripped and panicked, grabbing hold of him again. I couldn't see but I knew he taking advantage of this and enjoying himself way too much.

When I could open my eyes again I shoved him and had a go at him for making me panic multiple times.

He just laughed. Until I tripped him.

Since they insisted on walking us home I took complete advantage of it, getting revenge. When we got there I exchanged numbers with Jimin as well and Sophia with both of them.

As soon as I was inside I changed into my gang uniform and so did Sophia.

Just then I got a call on my smart watch.

Hey C got a lead on the Midnight Moon. Think they are after BTS.

Good news I guess. Take down one and see our rivals face to face. I covered my hair and face. No one could know I am a girl. Or who I am.

I grabbed my gear. Bow and arrows. Check. Staff. Check. Daggers. Check. Smoke bombs. Check. Call me old school with the weapons but they were the best.
