Chapter 3
He pulled away first and leaned his forehead against mine. He was breathing hard catching his breath, just like me.
“Wow.” He said and I nodded.
“Well it would seem like we missed something.” Megan said smiling at us. The whole group was standing there looking at us.
We jump apart but Brian keeps his arms around my waist and I look at them and smile “Well-” I start to say.
“Oh save the explanation Honey we knew it was gonna happen sooner or later. I mean just the way you two look at each other and are always hugging.” Megan says brightly. “Just how are you going to break it to Jasmine?” Jasmine. What was it with that name?
“Well umm I already kind of broke up with her. I knew it was wrong to still be dating her when I liked someone else. I explained to her why I was breaking up with her. She didn’t take it so well. But it was worth it.” He said looking down at me. I smile up at him and he takes my hand and takes me to the corner so we can get some privacy.
“So as you’re probably guessing, I want to know if you will like to go on a date with me?” He says smiling sweetly at me.
“I would love to go on a date with you Jackson.” I say trying not to show too much excitement. In which I absoulutely failed.
“Awesome I’ll pick you up at 6. Be ready by then.” He said winking. He leaned down and kissed me again. I melted against his lips.
We broke apart and he smiled down at me. There was a sparkle in his eyes, such amazing eyes. I wanted to get lost in them forever. He wrapped his arms around me and I completely melted before his lips even met mine. That was just the effect he had on me. I’ve never felt like this before.
With Harry and Dylan I had never been truly happy around them. I dated them because I knew my parents wouldn’t like them and at the time that was all I cared about. Also they were so much like my biological father and I was drawn to them because of that.
He looks down at me, “You okay?” he asks looking concerned.
“Yeah just thinking.” I pull his head down as I lean up to kiss him again before he can ask about what.
He kisses me and then pulls away, smiling he says, “You know were still in school and our friends are waiting for us right around the corner.
I laugh and push away from the wall, which he had pinned me against. “Alright Mr. Smith, let’s go join our friends and tell them the good news.” We walk back his arm around my waist.
“Hey love birds!” Meghan yells when she sees us coming. “How was your make out session?!” she starts giggling.
"It was like seven minutes in heaven.” I say winking. I notice Jasmine off in the distance, she's staring right at me, I smirk and wink at her. Her lips tremble and she glares at me. She turns and stalks off.
Lunch with my friends was always fun. We talked about everything and anything. Before when it was cold Jackson would hold me in his arms and I would completely melt in them. The bell would ring saying lunch was over and we wouldn’t move. That was how I knew he liked me or was starting too. I broke out of the memory as Jackson nudged me and looked down at me with such tenderness in his eyes. I smiled up at him and realized that I might just be falling for him.
Which was a big NO for a girl like me.
