(8.) silence

It was suddenly like he'd been hit by a truck. His entire face looked tired;his body was just moving through the motions with no reward.

It was just like he'd lost sight of his entire being. He wasn't lively like unusual. No talking about space.

That was the trigger that made many people think something was wrong. He was always the student who was loud in class but now he was just silent.

He blamed it on being tired.

It wasn't a lie, of course.

He was exhausted both mentally and physically. But really it was his heart that was killing him.

Until he saw something else that killed him.

As he was making his way to their Biology class, he caught glimpse of blue hair just ahead of him. That subtle ahoge as well gave him away. He felt a sudden boil in his blood, his mind screaming. The screams were deafening.

A mop of green hair was also beside him, walking with him out of the school. He watched them walk down the steps and soon vanish into thin air. They were gone.

He cleared his throat, fixing his jacket so his wrists and arms were hidden.
