yoongi stood in the parking lot, hair messy and clothes tattered. it was raining, but yoongi don't care. he couldn't care. taehyung left him in this exact parking lot one year ago.

taehyung lost communication with him since that day. neither of them sent a text to each other or even made a quick call. until yesterday. yesterday taehyung texted yoongi. it was a quick 'hello' which turned into feelings being reignited.

at the end of the texts taehyung asked to meet yoongi in the same exact parking lot where he broke things off. yoongi, of course, said yes. so that leads us here. yoongi standing in a bbq restaurant parking lot when it's raining.

"yoongi?" he turned around to see taehyung standing there, as wet as him and as handsome as he remembered.

"taehyung!" yoongi ran to the other, running into open arms and crying. he clung to taehyung's wet clothes and cried. he didn't care how awkward it felt with soaked clothes and clammy skin.

"i missed you." the other whispered, leaning back to see yoongi's face and pushing some hair out of his face.

"i did too. i truly did." yoongi stated with a smile and glassy eyes. taehyung let out a small chuckle and smiled. he smiled his signature boxy smile which made yoongi's heart clench.

taehyung glanced at the restaurant behind them before looking back at yoongi. "do you want to go inside?"

"yeah. don't think standing out in the rain would do any of us good." yoongi pulled away and grabbed taehyung's hand, pulling him inside the restaurant where the two caught up and ate lamb skewers.
