Hey Mads, sorry I haven't spoken since I left. It's taken a while to get over the jet lag.
Lola has settled in, she starts school soon, can't believe it's summer here! What's the weather like for you? I've met some cool people out and about, my new favorite thing is TimTams, you have to try them! Ugh I could eat a whole packet in one go. I've been missing you though. Melbourne is alright but I don't really know anyone here properly.
Hope you're doing well.
Love, Jessie

I'm sorry Maddie, I can't stay in contact anymore, it's for your own safety. I have gotten into the wrong crowd, I tried to leave the group and now they want revenge. I've had death threats on my family and on you. This is why I must go, if they know about you then they have access to my emails. I'm scared Mads. I wish I could hug you right now.
I hope to get in contact when things are safe, the police are on it. I love you Maddie.

I can't sleep. Haven't emailed you in a long time. Not like you get these anyway. I hope you're okay. I keep having nightmares that they (Whoever they are) have done something awful to you. Things have changed at home, Layla has been good to me. Shocking I know. I work at a coffee shop with her, the boss is a bit sleazy though. Mum and Dad have divorced, it's about time really. I have a nephew who is six weeks old called Louie, he is my world.
Miss you always
