CHAPTER 12: FINAL EXAM PT 4

HER EMERALD EYES

CHAPTER (THRID POV): FINAL EXAM PT 4

(YEAR 849)

Andrea and Eren walked into the dining hall, talking about what might be the last course. Armin and Mikasa followed behind them as they took their seats and began discussing about it once again.

“Aneki, what do you think the last course is going to be about?” Eren asked as he stared worriedly at his older sister. Andrea stared down at her unappetising food. She looked up staring into her brother’s eyes that was almost so similar to hers.

“I’m not sure… But I’m getting the-“

“Feeling that something is going to happen?” Eren cut in as he kept staring at his sister. He felt something was off and has to do something about it.

“We have to cancel this! I don’t know what it is but I’m getting the feeling that something bad is going to happen!” Eren whisper-shouted at her. Mikasa grabbed hold of Eren’s shoulder.

“Eren….” She whispered and forced him to sit. Armin, who was watching quietly, finally spoke.

“Eren… If you think that something bad is going to happen… we can’t cancel it! It would seem that she is forfeiting it and aneki wouldn’t be able to go to the Scouting Legion.” Armin explained as Eren pouted in shame.

“I’m just looking out for aneki…”

“Well Eren, you wouldn’t be able to look out for me when I’m in the field… Even though I’m also getting the feeling that something is going to happen… I’m not going to let that stop me… This once in a life time chance for me to prepare to become better… to protect the people I love… and this is the better choice than waiting for the actual graduation…. I’m sorry… I’m not hungry….” And with that Andrea stood up from her seat and walked away from the table.

“Aneki? ANEKI?” Eren shouted as he was about to go after her until he saw the Heichou standing up and following his sister to god knows where she is going.

“Eren… Just leave her be…” Mikasa said before once again forcing him down to sit. Eren stared at the door that his sister and the Heichou went out.

Levi closed the door behind him and saw Andrea walking away. He was about to go and get her until he was pulled into the shadows. He quickly elbowed the person in the stomach and shoved the person into the wall, but to only see a trainee. A girl trainee. Annie stared up at the Heichou as she slightly pushed him off herself.   

“And what might you be thinking grabbing a corporal from behind, cadet?” Levi stared down at Annie as she looked away. He scoffed as he rolled his eyes.

“I want you to make sure Andrea doesn’t pass this test…” Annie said staring straight into his eyes. It felt like she was staring into his soul. Levi raised a brow before shaking his head.

“And you think…. I’m going to do that? This girl… Andrea… Is something we have never seen before…. What makes you think that-“

“I’ve seen you come over to her private cabin to have a chat with her… does that mean that you two actually knew each other before she came here?” She said sternly as she leaned against the wall. Levi scoffed at her and grabbed her collar.
