CHAPTER 10 (ANDREA POV): FINAL EXAM PT 2
(YEAR 849)
After the introduction in the morning, everyone took off to the mess hall to eat before coming down to the forest to watch me do my first part of the final exam. I could feel every bit of my body ready to do this. ‘I can do this…’ I thought to myself and slightly lifting the spoon to my mouth. I couldn’t even eat the tasteless soup. I sighed and decided that I should go out already.
It’s only been half an hour and I still couldn’t eat. Eren looked over at me and saw how I couldn’t sit still. I must have some problems with me. Well technically, I do…
“Aneki, you alright?” Eren asked worriedly as I dropped my spoon in my soup. I looked over and gave him a reassuring smile.
“Of course. Why wouldn’t I be?” Mikasa gave me a look before biting into her bread.
“Eren is worried since you can’t seem to stop moving.” I chuckled before looking away to see Levi staring at me from where he was sitting. His steel blue eyes sparkled a bit before looking away to talk to Erwin. I shook my head before getting up and walking to put my stuff away.
I went outside and walked over to the front of the forest. I stared at it and closed my eyes as I felt the breeze went passed me. I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my head as I saw images of Levi and I, fighting with our swords in the forest until something or someone zoomed pass with a cloak on and cut off my cord.
I opened my emerald eyes in fear. ‘Someone is trying to kill me… but for what purpose?’ I thought as I walked slowly to a tree and rest my back on it. I took deep breathes as I tried to not freak out, then it hit me. ‘Someone is a traitor…’ I could feel my blood boil as I felt my eyes glow slightly. Shaking my head, I closed my eyes and held my head in my hands.
“Oi, you don’t look good…” I smirked as I looked up to see Levi trying to stand tall as possible as he looked at me in the eye.
“And what makes you say that?”
“….” All he did was smirk before walking away and fixing his equipment. I chuckled as I watched the older man fixing everything and slightly cleaning them aswell. Well, more like really cleaning them. ‘Same old, same old Levi…’ I smirked and saw Annie walking towards me.
“Hey” She said and stood next to me.
“Hi…” I whispered as I kept on watching Levi.
“Are you sure…? That you can’t change now?” Annie asked with slight hope in her voice. I looked over and shook my head. ‘She really doesn’t have anyone to be with…’ I thought before placing my hand onto her shoulder.
“Listen to me, Annie… I want you to promise me something…” Annie looked in my eye and nodded.
“Promise me… You’ll at least try to make friends and be the same?” Annie looked shocked but quickly hid it with a mask before nodding her head and looking down. I could hear people making their way to the open part of the forest. I lift Annie’s face up before patting her on the cheek and walking back slightly.
“I’ve got to go now…” She nodded and watched me walk away until I stopped and looked over my shoulder.
“And one more thing you need to promise me…” She nodded again and waited for me to tell her. ‘I hope it isn’t her…’ I thought before smirking.
“Never betray me please.” I said with a serious voice before walking away.
