CHAPTER 13 (ANDREA POV): THE CEREMONY AND THE AFTER PARTY

(YEAR 849)

“Ouch!” I yelped as the nurse cleaned up my cuts on my abdomen. Somehow the mysterious person managed to leave a massive cut on my abdomen. Eren’s face was pale as kept on staring at my cut. I gave him a look saying ‘can-you-not?’ but then he gave me a look saying ‘not-my-fault-I’m-worried-sick!’ I smirked at him as the nurse finished wrapping my cut.

“You’re lucky you didn’t bleed to death! You better not move too much as the stitch will open up!” The nurse scolds at me as I shrugged it off. Mikasa eyed me before glaring at me.

“I think you should listen to her, aneki. We don’t want you screaming in pain when the wound opens up.” Mikasa said coldly as Eren and Armin stared at each other, scared of the emotionless girl. I rolled my eyes before getting up until a certain Heichou decides to barge in.

“Andrea. Commander Smith wants to see you in Commander Keith’s office.” He glares at me as he saw me walking around like nothing had happened.

“Oi” He shouted before walking up to me and pulling me down the hallway with Eren shouting my name. As he kept on pulling me towards Keith’s office, he suddenly stopped. I bumped my face onto the back of his head before looking at his face.

“Levi?!? Why did you suddenly stop?!?” I shouted as I rubbed my sore face before looking at his expression. It was pure disgust.

“You’re still cover in blood, dirt and sweat…” He whispered as he suddenly ran out of the building with me and in front of my cabin. He swinged the door opened and rushed in shoving me into my bathroom before grabbing new clothes. He threw them at me before pointing towards the shower.

“Get. Yourself. Clean.” And with that he slammed the door in my face. I stood there before sighing. ‘What a clean freak…’ I thought before taking my clothes and the bandage off before stepping into the shower. As I cleaned myself, I suddenly smiled as I had flashback of something similar to this.

I was in the middle of practising my skills in hand to hand combat as I felt someone’s presence. I looked down and saw a shadow that stood there, watching every move I did. I stopped and smirked.

“Levi, how long are you just gonna stand there and watch?” I asked as I put my black hoodie down before staring at the man before me. He smirked before shaking his head.

“You look so dirty. You better get yourself clean before I do it myself!” He shouted before I scoffed at him. I pulled out the handkerchief that he gave the first day I met him. I wiped my sweat before walking away from him. I felt his stare before looking over my shoulder.

“Are you coming or what?” I shouted before putting the handkerchief away in my pocket and pulling up my hoodie to cover half of my face. I heard his footstep rushing over to me before he sighed.

I chuckled to myself at the memory before continuing cleaning myself. Just as I was cleaning myself, I remembered about my cut. I looked down at it before sighing and letting myself heal. ‘I completely forgot about it… I was holding the verge to heal myself…’ I thought as steam came out of my wound and it felt much better. ‘I can’t heal myself too fast or else everyone will get suspicious…’  I straighten myself before turning the shower off and changing into my new clothes.

Once I finished getting change, I walked out to see Levi drinking tea. He looked over before finishing his tea and putting everything away. Levi walked towards the door as I followed behind him.
