North was walking out of the Healers shop when she ran into a strange girl. The girl was wearing a cloak, bandana, jeans, and a belt with 2 daggers on it. There was something wrong with the girl's eyes, the way she looked at North when North had accidentally run into her. North knew the girl had scanned her for weaknesses and strengths.
The girl moved and struck like a snake, what she struck though was North's stomach. North was on the ground in pain covering her stomach and shielding it from another attack. While Finley was still inside talking to the healer.
"Looks like Christian had been wrong." The girl said before turning her back, she started to walk off.
"Wait, how do you know Christian!" North said getting to her feet.
The girl didn't answer North she just kept walking. North was confused she had never heard of this girl. This girl obviously is what North had been training to be, but didn't have the guts to become. When North didn't get an answer she tried to kick the girl square in the back, which would have probably made her land on her face.
"Not a good idea." The girl said spinning around and catching North's foot.
"And North's done angered Farah," Finley said watching.
"Well if 'Farah' hadn't said the name, Christian," North said Farah in a mimicking tone. "I wouldn't have tried to kick her square in the back."
"Yeah well, Farah doesn't like you and she was only trying to get under your skin," Finley said smiling. "Also she only knows about your past cause me."
"Now if you don't mind," Farah said letting go of North's leg. "The upper kingdom's prince will be in town today and I would like to make sure Nora doesn't kill him."
Farah then turned and walked away. So if she wasn't an assassin, she was probably a personal guard. If North remembered correctly, Keaton didn't have a personal guard. So then why would any other prince have one?
