But she never hit the ground, she opened her eyes. Someone had caught her, she got to her feet and he let go of her.
"Hey, you okay?" The strange boy said.
"Yeah, I'm fine," North mumbled, something about this boy told her danger.
"You new around here? I haven't seen you around here before." The boy said.
"Yeah, my parents kinda ditched me in the woods," North said.
"If you need a place to stay there's a camp nearby, oh by the way I'm Christian," Christian said.
"That would be great thanks, oh also in North," North said.
"Kinda ironic," Christian mumbled laughing a bit.
"What's 'kinda ironic?'" North asked confused.
"Your name, the camp I was talking about is North West of here," Christian said.
North nodded. "By any chance do you know why they're giving a speech?"
"Yeah, they said another kingdom had sent a spy and that we all need to look out for anyone suspicious," Christian said rolling his eyes. "We should probably get going before they find us to be suspicious."
"Okay..." North said, she still had a really bad feeling about this boy 'Christian.'
The two walked back to the camp, North trailing slightly behind him. Once they were at their destination there were walls. Christian signaled something with his hand and they opened.
"Welcome to Lexia's camp," Christian said North had heard of this place, and this place just so happened to be responsible for training the top assassins in this kingdom.
"I thought it was a legend though, I thought the western kingdom had destroyed this place..." North said trailing off, she stared at the camp in awe.
"I see you've heard of Lexia's camp," Christian said smirking.
"Yeah, the top assassins in the western kingdom were trained here," North said.
