Gabriel stopped his raise of the dagger, giving a look towards Raphael and Michael. "It is far too late to bargain their souls, Satan. Besides, the contract was broken meaning that any of the usual rules towards exchanging souls would be now revoked, especially for you." Gabriel calmly states, looking between Y/n's parents and down at Y/n's unconscious body. The Devil growled at that. Cuphead and Mugman widen their eyes at the truth. The entire casino crew only stood stock still. 'The contract was broken, but how?!' everyone thought, trying frantically to recollect the events up to when the contract become null-in-void.
By this time Raguel and Uriel arrived standing on either side of Gabriel. Raguel reached for his sword, but Gabriel holds up his hand stopping him, and Raguel and Uriel relaxed their position. "Of course God would put Gabriel in charge of the five of them, it only makes sense, him being the messenger of God after all." Ezikiel said still crouched in their hiding spot. "This makes no sense why the hell was the contract destroyed, father wouldn't risk such a thing." Cuphead grumbled, the liquid in his head bubbles over, Mugman puts a hand over his shoulder, to which Cuphead responds with a deep sigh. "Right, find a way to get our sister away from those "pretty boys", what do have Mugs?" Cuphead said sitting down turning to his brother. "We need a distraction, something that can throw Uriel and Raguel off, but then we'll have to worry about Gabriel, he still has that dagger in his hand, if we're not careful, he could easily kill her, and then..." Mugman could only growl at the thought, the hell he or Cuphead was going to allow such a thing to happen.
