Recap: Y/n opened the door, peeking her head in waving and then her whole body, she stood timidly by the door. The room went deaf.

Everyone stood still, the clock in the room was the only object to make a noise. Y/n not sure of what to do, started to sweat, shifting her eyes between everyone in the room she had grown up and come to know as family, until her eyes fell on Aisha. A smile spread out wide on Y/n's face as she skipped/raced over to her Aunt. and engulfed her in a warm hug. It was when aisha wrapped her hands around Y/n's back that everyone snapped out of their stupor and started to juggle Y/n around giving her hugs, ruffles of the hair and kisses on the cheek. And since they were in the privacy of their residence, everyone could freely tear up and not be seen as weird, being considered heartless by humans and all. It was up to Y/n being kind of pushed in front of her father, dad-like figure, Dice; Jinn, her mother in so many ways, and two annoying brothers that she actually felt at home. Jinn took the first step towards her and reached out her hand, but the Devil was faster and enveloped his baby girl in a bear vice hug. To which Y/n had to hit her dad's arm three times to get him to let go for lack of oxygen. Putting her down, Y/n placed her hands on the side of his face and brought her forehead to his, both shedding tears for the realization that Y/n was really here, really back.

Jinn enveloped in a semi-hug with the Devil all three had found themselves on the floor, huddled and crying like it was the end of the world. After everyone watched the display, King Dice came to take his hug from Y/n to which she happily complied. Y/n was happy to be back and with her memories and her .... Her senses, she has to tell them about the deal. About everything, slowly loosening her arms from around Dice's torso, Y/n smiled sadly down at her feet. Looking back up, everyone waited for her to speak, but all Y/n gave was another smile. The Devil was the first to voice his concern. "Y/n, why haven't you spoken yet?" Y/n turned quickly towards her father, and turned back to everyone, everyone except... she turned quickly to smile brightly at her brothers, both giving off an air of distance. Y/n ran over to them both, but both just stepped back from her advanced hug. Cocking her head to the side. "How can you act like nothing happened. Like hugging and a few tears are going to make up for a month of having to walk past your room and know you could never come out again!?" Cuphead cried, tears gathered at the corners. He swiftly turned and stomped out, Mugs just gave a sad look and frown to his sister, before racing out to catch up with his brother. Y/n eyes dilated and her body slouched. It felt like her heart had just stopped again. Jinn walked up behind her and placed a hand on Y/n's shoulder. "Don't worry Y/n, they're just in a state of disbelief over your return,give them time." Jinn said. Y/n gave a curt nod and turned to give Jinn a smile. "Now about that speaking." Dice states crossing his arms. Everyone directed their attention to Y/n. Y/n sheepishly smiled, opening and closing her mouth, not sure of how she could communicate everything she wanted to tell them. "Y/n, yellow bean?" Y/n made emphases with her hands and mouth, trying to explain that she couldn't necessarily talk. But that left her family looking on confused. Giving an annoyed and giving up stance, Y/n looked around for a pad and pen. With both tools in her hand she began to write down as much as she could to explain the whole death afterlife and the river styx and meeting God himself to the deal she made and the travel back to her body up to when she opened the doors of the meeting room. After 30 mins of none stop writing, Y/n finally handed the paper to her dad to read.

The Devil read the paper out loud to everyone, but paused at the written deal between Y/n and God. he lowered the paper and looked sadly at his daughter. "You gave up your voice in return for me breaking the contract?" He asked in disbelief. Y/n smiled for the untempt today. Aisha and Jinn gasped. Y/n rubbed her arm trying to duck her head not really wanting the attention on her. She could only nod her head and motion with her hand, moving it away from her mouth in the action of her pulling air out of it. "Why?" He asked. "Why wouldn't you have let me handle it?" Y/n shook her head not believing this. Not even one day back and her family was more distraught over her return and the deal than anything.
