Kole's POV

I sit on the window seal of my room, blankly staring out the clear glass. Spending my Sunday as per usual, doing absolutely nothing.

Thoughts of Christian and Samson's conversation lurking within my empty head.

I want her to be my sister again...

Chris' words still swimming around as I begin to wonder what he meant entirely on that sentence.

My thoughts are interrupted by a knock on my door

"Come in"

My brother Carson, peeks his head in

"Hey Kiddo."

"What's up?" He questions as he walks in closing the door

"Nothing" I respond short

"How are you doing?" He asks taking a spot across from me on the window seal

"What do you mean? I'm fine, just sitting here." I say keeping my eyes on the window

"I don't want to hear that answer Kole. It's the same fucking thing every time with you. For once I would like to hear the words 'good' or 'I'm great'. Anything but that. Just so I know you're still in there." Carson speaks

I turn and look at him

"What is that supposed to mean?" I question raising a brow

"You know damn well what the hell I mean." He states

"You don't talk to anyone, you don't do anything besides sit in this damn room all day. You never show any form of emotion nor do you ever express anything, you always have this gloomy dull look on your face. You are not the same anymore."

I look at him with a empty face

"What is it with you boys?...Christian and Samson were talking about the same fucking thing." I speak montonely

"Like I said, you're not the same." Carson replies

I scoff, rolling my eyes and turning my attention back to the window

"That's new. Didn't know you could do that. I mean after all, your face and attitude never show any type of motion. It's always just a straight plain look." Carson spits

"What do you want Carson? Why are you here?" I ask

"Wanted to see my sister. I never see her with her being locked away in her room away from the world." Carson says lowly

"I also want her to talk to me and not shut me out like she always does."

I slowly take my attention away from the window and look at Carson, his face holding nothing but pain and disappointment maybe even a little of hope.

"Alright." I say

His face now holding a bit of shock, not thinking he'd ever hear those words from me

"Really? You'll try?" He questioned

I nodded hesitantly, not fully sure I'll be able to but

.......

I'll try
