I paid the driver, entered the house and slammed the door.  I went straight to my room without telling my dad that I'm home, I don't want to let him see me at this state.  I dumped my bag on the bed and cried out loud.  "You freak! I thought you said you'd be faithful! Loyal! Whatever! I just danced with this man who cut in and there you go, dancing with that Thalia!" I shouted while muffled my voice with the pillow.

I felt so helpless, first my mom, now my boyfriend.  I know I shouldn't be sad about Kaleb because he's worthless but I really can't help it, I'm madly in love with him.  How can I even do that?  He may have all the explanations but I'm sure none of them can heal this scar that he just planted on my heart.

I suddenly saw a messenger standing in front of me, in my room!  I turned to face the man, "What are you doing here?!"

"Have you forgotten your mission? Is this Kaleb guy your priority?"

Just how come I can sense that this is the man who made Kaleb do such thing?  Why am I feeling this aura?

"Do you believe in Greek gods?" the man asked me with his stern looking eyes.

"No."

"What if I say that it's real?"

"Why should I believe you then?"

"Because I have proofs. Come, I'll show you."

The room started to swirl.  My heart pounded faster, my head grew lighter, my eyes grew heavier and pillows started to form around me.  Sweet dreams and nightmares started to collide.  What is happening?!

I've studied about Greek mythology before in my Literature class.  Could this be Morpheus?  The god of dreams?

When everything steadied, my eyes and head adjusted.  I was in this comfy room, scented candles perfumed the room and soft pillows and beds were everywhere.  My eyes continued to grow heavy and my knees started to wobble.  I felt myself fall on the comfy bed and fell into a deep sleep.

"Wake up. Camille, wake up! Don't forget about your mission."

"Later mom, five more minutes."  I mumbled.

“Camille, it’s your mom that we’re finding so get your ass off the bed.”  Someone said sternly.  Harsh.

I pried my eyes opened and pouted, “Fine.”  How can this room be so comfy?

“Hi, I’m Morpheus’s son. I guess Hermes sent you, he told me that someone or should I say your mom ran left home because of someone.”  A man just about my age started talking.

“Yes.”  I nodded, “She left a voice message and the divorce papers. I didn’t expect that to happen, I mean, mom and dad loves each other. It’s pretty impossible for them the file a divorce. Someone must’ve had told my mom to do so or threatened her.”

“Actually, my dad told me that the gods had a connection with Thales before but after your mother’s parents died, the connection lost. Maybe, we can help you out.”

“I remember my mom’s voice mail, she told me that I’ll get my kingdom back.”  I gasped.

The man’s eyes widened and stood up, “No, that can’t be it! I need to call Hermes.”

Panic was all over his face, what could it be?  What did he know?  Is it really that serious?  Is my mother in danger?

Morpheus’s son went to the next room. I peeked and saw him doing an iris message.

“Hey, Hermes! Do you remember what Hephaestus was talking about?”

“Which?”

“The ‘Plan XYZ’!”

“Oh that. What about it?”

“Do you remember him reporting about it? Saying that one of the demigods was captured by one of the Titans?”

“Yes.”

“I think it’s Camille’s mom.”

“No, that’s not possible.”

“Yes it is. You guys had a connection with Thales before.”

“Yes but that was a long time ago.”

“Camille said something about returning the kingdom to her and I don’t think it’s the Titans.”

“Oh shoot. Who do you think it is?”

“One of the new creatures, the Kylras.”

“Kylras? You mean the monsters that have a human side. Wait, I mean the ones that are almost completely human? Except they have the power like the gods?”

“Yes.”

“Fascinating.”

“How can that be fascinating?! It’s horrible! Something could happen to Camille! Her family!”

“Travis, why the sudden care for Camille and her family.”

“Hermes, you know that I really like her.”  He pouted.

Travis.  The one in the ballroom party of Kaleb’s father.  You mean he’s just playing dumb with me?  Sort of, but thousand years?  Is it an exaggeration or…?  Oh boy, my once peaceful life became this.  I wonder what Kylras are though.  Are they even Greek?

“Just kidding. Okay, I’ll tell Hephaestus about it, just keep Camille safe. I’ll just tell her you can be trusted.”  Hermes laughed and his holograph started to fade.

I froze by the door with what I heard and Travis suddenly appeared in front of me.  “I guess you heard everything. Let’s go sit down and talk.”  He smiled.

So who is this Travis guy?  What will happen to Kaleb?  Did he intentionally do that or was he blackmailed?  Let's just find out.:)

I was planning to delete this book but my friend told me not to because she likes this book so I put it on hold for a while, here's the chapter 18.:)

I'm not sure when Chapter 19 will be published though.:)

If the demand's high then I'll be posting soon.:D
