Adam really had lost his mind. He kept shouting Shakira's name and kept trying to dive into the water. The personel of the yatch were trying to stop him but he kept fighting back.
"Sir the rescue boat and the search boat have arrive if you want you can come with us. Only if you would calm yourself." The captain said and backed away, afraid what Adam would react.
"Calm myself? Calm? How can i F*CKING CALM MYSELF IF I KNOW MY F*CKING WIFE IS OUT THERE ON A BURNING YATCH. I DONT EVEN KNOW IF SHE'S F*CKING ALIVE." Adam spat at the captain then it hit him. What if she's dead........ Adam's mind totally went blank. What would he do without her. How can he live without her. Where can he find the reason to smile everyday. Why cant they just live happily. Why does this have to happen. I got to find her.
Adam calmed his self hoping that Shakira's okay but looking at that huge cloud of thick black smoke, Adam's hope dropped.
"Please let me come with you. I have to find Shakira." Adam said and the captain nodded.
They ride a search boat and two helicopters were already searching. Divers dived in the water and began searching. Blake called Adam and Adam explained what's going on. Although every moments that passes Adam's hope is vanishing. Blake came with extra boats to help the search.
Adam look at his wristwatch. 6 hours...... Six f*ucking hours had passed and still nothing.
She's dead. That's what my head thought.
I know. Its all my fault. Why did i left her alone. I promise i would never leave her side but i did. Now she's gone. My everything is gone. It hurts. I cant explain it but it freakin hurts. Tears were flowing in my face but i dont care. She's gone. She's dead. Its all my fault. She died because of me. I not able to protect her. Adam thought. But in his heart, even though it was shattered in a bunch of pieces, there is still a small amount of hope. He's still hoping that everythings a dream. That this is just a joke. That these people would tell him Shakira's safe and that we would live happily forever. That they would stay at each other's side and would love each other endlessly. Adam smiled to his self. Thinking about everything that they could have done.
They could have grow old with each other. They could have been wrapped in each other's arms, cuddling every night. They would have made a huge family to take care of. They could have been something that can last forever. But that 'they' was gone now he's all alone.
Adam was heartbroken. In any second now Adam would break down. He just cant take everything that was happening. Dead, alone, protect, his fault, Shakira. Those were everything that Adam's head can process at the moment. Adam snapped back to his thought when he heard the captain.
"Sire! We found something." Adam got scared.
What if that something is not the thing he looking for. What if that is not the thing Adam wanted to see right now. What if that something confirm his thoughts.
But at the same time Adam was happy cause they found something.
Adam went to the group of divers and he felt everything in his body dropped. Tears started flowing in his eyes as he look at what they found. Shakira's wedding ring with blood stains on it.
She's dead.......
At that moment Adam's emotion were too much for his body and he passed out.
-On an unknown island-
Three little girls were playing at the beach.
"Lets go treasure hunting". A long
brown curly haired girl with hazel eyes said.
"Sophia, there are no treasures here." A shoulder length brunette Asian that looks more like a Latina said to the girl.
"Lets just look for something then, Jane. The one who found the best stuff wins." Sophia told her. They started looking for objects in the shore.
"Look i found a starfish." Sophia said showing the starfish to Jane.
" That's nothing. Look i found the magic conch (spelling?)shell." Jane said holding the shell.
"Quick call mermaidman! Hey Shane have you found something yet.?" Sophia ask the long haired Asian girl.
"Wait im still looking." Shane said looking farther to the shore. When she noticed something she ran to the other side of the beach.
After a while Shane came back smiling.
"Hey Shane where have you been? Look, I think i win look at all this shells i found." Jane said pointing at the huge pile of shells.
"No i win. Look at the fish i caught i even caught mr. crabs." Sophia said showing a bucket full sea creatures.
"Nope girls, i think i won this time." Shane said still smiling.
"Why? What did you found?" Sophia and Jane ask in unison.
"I found......... a mermaid." Shane said happily.
"Really?! Where?" Jane ask getting excited.
"Come i'll show you." Shane said then ran to the direction she came from. Shane led her friends to a clearing and enter a beautiful lagoon.
"Wow how did you found this Shaney?" Sophia said in awe as she look around the white sand and rock formation and the crystal clear sea.
"This is where i hide from mother superior." Shane said jumping around a rock.
"Come, here's the mermaid." Shane said telling her friends to come over there.
"That's not a mermaid." Jane said crossing her arms while pouting looking at a floating body of a blonde girl.
"Yeah. She have feet not tail." Sophia said crossing her arms too.
"Maybe she drank a potion that change tail to feets you know, like little mermaid. Wait lets look at her face." Shane said carrying the body to the shore.
"Whoa, She's heavy." Shane said to her friends.
"She looks light to me." Jane and Sophia said.
"No she's really heavy." Shane said trying to heave the body.
"She's really heavy guys." Shane said with a cant-you-see-i-want-you-guys-to-help-me look.
"You already said that." Jane said.
"Arghh. You guys are so slow. Wont you help me." Shane said successfully made the body stand and trying her best to balance the body.
"Nope. She looks heavy. And you found her right? That means she's your responsibility." Sophia said sitting at a large boulder and watching Shane suffer, i mean carry the body.
"You guys are so mean." Shane cried and successfully place the body in the shore.
"There." Shane said and sat beside the body. Shane put her hair out of her face so she could see the face.
"Wait, i think i know her." Shane said tilting her head to the side.
"Wait its Shakira. Guys look it's Shakira." Shane said and Jane and Sophia quickly went to her.
"Oh my Freaking God." Jane and Sophia said together. The three girls jaw dropped when they realized who they found.
Shakira's hand twitch and it surprised the girls.
"Whaaaaa! She's moving." Jane screamed and hide behind Sophia.
"Wait she's saying something." Sophia said when she saw Shakira's lips move. Shane put her ear closer.
"Adam Levine.Adam Levine? Who's that? Come girls lets take her to the orphanage." Shane said and Jane and Sophia helped Shane carry Shakira.
