I poked the dead body with my shoe as I examined it.
Currently me and Namjoon are examining the body which we found yesterday.
"Namjoon, did the investigation for who she is started yet?" I asked staring at the body.
The body looks really gross to be honest, it seemed like the killer didn't want the identity of the person to be released at any cost. It looks burned, some skin scraped off and things you don't want to know.
"Not really, the boss is yet to give orders for that."
"Are there anymore information about the body?" I asked again.
"Yes, the woman was first killed by strangling, then this disaster had happened to her." He said pointing towards the body.
"So, does that mean that the killer didn't want to hurt the woman?" I asked while Namjoon quietly nodded.
"Possibly."
"What's the name of the forest? And where is it the closest to?" I asked
"The name of the forest isn't quite available, but it is noted that is near a village, Samadum village."
"What about that village?" I asked curiously
"It's not really an interesting place to be honest but it's not bad either, it's population is pretty low, it has a few families and not everyone knows about this village, even the city near to this village. " Namjoon stated.
"So is it possible that this woman is a villager of Samadum?"
He shrugged. "Maybe a high chance, since the killer could easily dump the body in the forest, since Samadum is close to this forest." He answered.
"You were saying something about the city close to the village isn't it? The body could possibly be from the city."
"Yes, but there's a small chance for that since that city has several abandoned areas which contain lakes and the killer could have dumped it there, but if the killer was to dump the body in the forest, it has to pass through Samadum to get to the forest according to the location, and it's quite a long walk. " He explained.
"I see" I rubbed my thumb across my chin as my thoughts get deeper and deeper.
"Namjoon, as soon as the boss gives orders for the investigation, we'll go to Samadum village, okay?"
"Okay, ma'am." He bowed slightly before I allowed him to leave.
