The next day

Yesterday has made today a little distracting. After what had happened yesterday, I was completely absorbed in the memory.

Namjoon had asked a couple of times if I was okay, and he seemed kind of worried.

"Are you perhaps stressed about yesterday?" He asks.

"Not really, I think I am fine about yesterday's scolding right now." I answer.

"No! I mean about last night." He asks.

I furrow my eyebrows, what does he know about yesterday?

Wait does that mean I wasn't hallucinating?

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"About that girl, I don't remember her name though." He tries to think hard."Oh wait! It was Jisoo right?!"

My eyes widen, she came here!!

But how does he know about that??

"H-how do you know about that??" I ask panicked.

"Oh well, when I was on my way out, I met our boss and beside him was Jisoo. Confused I asked what she's doing here and he said that he released her. After that he said that Jisoo wanted to talk to you, so he told that he is leaving and suggested that I should too. I was worried a bit but he assured me that it would be okay." He explains.

So he released her??!

Why is he doing this!!?

My blood starts boiling.

I get up from my place immediately.

Namjoon notices my angry face, he too gets up and asks me about it.

"Is everything alright?"

"No, nothing is alright! If that old man continues to do shit like that then the case won't come to any conclusion!" I hiss.

Namjoon's eyes widen when he hears me calling him 'old man.'

I suddenly rush out of my office and march my way to the boss's office.

Without knocking, I barge in.

He notices my sudden entry and gets up immediately.

"Miss Jennie Kim, what do you think you are doing!" He scolds but I ignore him.

"Why are you doing this?! I never said I arrested her, I took her for a few days for interrogation, even though I am damn sure that she is the killer! I knew that I couldn't arrest anyone without a solid proof, so I took her for interrogation! BUT NO! YOU HAD TO COME RUIN EVERYTHING!" I am practicality screaming on his face.

His eyes widen. "Jennie Kim! How dare you talk to me like that!!"

"IT DOES NOT MATTER! I AM GOING TO ARREST HER THIS TIME AND YOU AINT STOPPING ME!" I point at him.

"If you don't stop right now, you will be fired!" He grits his teeth.

"I DONT CARE!" I yell back at him.

"Alright then! You are fired and now get the f*ck out of here!" He curses.

I come back to my senses when I realize what he is talking about.

"W-what!?" I gasp.

"That's right, missy. Your time here is over and now you may leave."

"N-no please don't I'm extremely sorry, I just had a bad today and I accidently came here and vented my anger." I lied but he doesn't listen to me at all.

"Nothing matters right now!" He hisses under his breathe.

"N-no, please don't." I tear up.

"No,no, just shut up and get lost." And with that he sits back on his chair and continues his work.

And there I am, having no choice but to leave.
