Chapter 10
Hunter stayed for a couple hours, and I honestly had a great time just talking with him. It was kind of weird how he had just now started to talk to me, but he seemed like a really nice guy, so I didn't question it
At first, he just wanted to make sure I was OK, but finally, after a lot of reassuring, he believed me, and we just started to talk about nothing, which was kind of like everything.
I had told my dad about the whole 'tail thing', and he had decided that my grandmother, on my mothers side, would be able to help us. She only lived a couple minutes away, and her house was on the shore of the inlet.
So here I was, in my room packing my suitcase.
"Why couldn't she just come here, Dad?"
"You know why, sweetie. She's getting old, and she can't travel as much anymore."
"Travel, Dad? It's like a 20 minute drive! Besides, you know her house creeps me out." Grandma Bunny (don't ask about the name, I was only 3) has a, well how do I put this nicely? She has a very big imagination. And is kinda crazy.
"Can we please not argue? Please, Becca. I'll meet you in the car."

I'm sorry for the short chapter, but I'm having a serious case of writers block.
I'll try to update soon, but let me know what you think.
