"Wow it looks packed!" Willow states the obvious as we pull up to the destination of the already raging party. Hosted by a boy in our year named Blake Harrison, one of the most popular boys in school. Willow and I apply some lipstick to our lips, check over each others outfits one last time and then head inside.
As we walk through the front door, we are immediately welcomed by blasting music, along with large amounts of people dancing and enjoying themselves. I smile to myself. I haven't been to a party in a while, i've missed it.
"Hello ladies." I smirk at the familiar voice behind us. I turn my body around and my eyes are greeted with the sight of Cole. I watch as his eyes scan over my body and darken once his eyes take in my appealing outfit. I blush slightly and clear my thraot, causing Coles eyes to immediately raise to meet mine, his cheeks also turning a shade of pink.
"Uh sorry. You look beautiful Lily." He adds a little awakward laugh and I smile at how nervous he just got.
"Thank you Cole. You don't look too bad yourself." I give him a soft smile and he replies with a smile also.
"Well, i'm going to go look for a hottie to dance with, later losers." Willow turns on her heel and goes off in search for her next hook up to add to her list.
"Wanna dance?" Cole asks nearing me with a smirk across his face. Sad by XXXtenticion begins to play and that causes me to smirk.
"Sure." I simply reply grabbing Coles wristand pulling him onto the dance floor. I start swaying my hips to the beat and Cole watches in anticipation. he thinks I don't notice but his hopes are crushed when I send him a mischievious smirk.
"Instead of being a perv, dance with me." I say with a chuckle. Cole rolls his eyes playfully then joins in with me.
After dancing and fooling around with Cole, I feel my throat go dry.
"Imma go grab a drink!" I yell over the loud music. Cole nods and gives me the thumbs up as a response, so I make my way over to the bar. I know for a fact, Willow won't be sober once this party ends, so I order a soda and sit on one of the bar stools. Watching the bartender pour my drink. I then feel a rough hand being placed on my shoulder and then a warm breath on my ear. Followed by,
"Hello there little slut." I cringe once I recognise the owner of the voice and then spin my chair around.
"Maddy. How nice to see you." I say with sarcasm clear in my tone.
"I half expected you to be grinding up on some fuxkboy on the dance floor. But I see your saving that for later?" A devilish smile plays on his lips while I scold him and don't bother wasting my breath on him. I swivel my chair back around and see the bartender has already placed my soda in front of me. I thank him and take a sip.
"Still pathetic I see. Can't even argue back. Or is it that you think this makes you some perfect bitch just like you've always claimed, right?" I stare down at my soda, trying my best to not flip out. Maddy still doesn't seem satisfyed with my reaction, so he presses on more. He occupys the stool on my left and faces his body towards me. His gaze burning into my side.
"You know something? You are so caught up in that slutty little head of yours, that you don't even pay attention to what's going on around you. Like for instance, I just fxcked your little friend. Willow, is it?" My eyes widen and I raise my head.
"You're lying." I state. Willow wouldn't do that to me. She knows of the history between Maddy and I, plus the fact that hes a complete and utter asshole to me, on the daily.
"I'm afraid not sweetheart. Look over at the couch over to your right." I look at Maddy who points his finger towards the area he was talking about. My eyes land on Willow, who just stumbled out of a room, I can only assume is a bedroom. Her hair is a total birds nest and her lipstick is smudged all around the area of her lips. This doesn't mean she was with Maddy though! My eyes are still stuck intently on Willow and her eyes then land on me. She smiles breifly but it then fades once she spots Maddy next to me. She looks away and scurries further into the crowd, which causes her to be out of my sight. That makes me confused.
"I told you." I can practically hear the smirk in his voice. I turn to face Maddy and I spot faded lipstick on his lips. The same colour Willow is wearing, to be exact. I grab his chin and bring his face closer, so I can get a better look at the smudge mark.
"Hey! Let go!" Maddy pleads, annoyed at my action. I pull back slowly, once I realise it's the same shade Willow is wearing. I have a mini arguement with my conscience saying things like, another girl could have the same shade of lipstick and, Maddy is not her type. But deep down, I know that i'm wrong and Willow did in fact sleep with Maddy. My ex-boyfriend, my ex-bestfriend and my bully. Once the realisation hits me I feel drained. I lean back in my chair and stare at the bar. For some reason I feel tears prick my eyes and I immediately try blinking them away.
"Are you...crying?" Maddys voice travels thrugh my ears, annoying me even further.
"Just leave me the fxck alone, okay!" I scream right into his face, earning a flinch from him. I leap off of the stool and search the dance floor for Cole. I finally succeed after what seems like forever except, he's busy sucking some girls face off. I sigh and decide to leave the party, knowing perfectly well that i'm leaving Willow to fend for herself. But if what Maddy said was true, then leaving her is not even half of what she deserves. I exit the house and walk towards my car but I am stopped by someone calling my name. I turn around and watch as Cole runs towards me.
"Hey, where are you going?" he seems very cheerful but unfortunetly I fail to show any sort of compassion.
"Home." I say in a lower tone then I meant to. Cole frowns and grabs both my hands in his, concern flodding over his face.
"Hey hey, whats happened? Are you okay?" I release myself from his grip and attempt to enter my car, not wanting to dump my problems on him since he is in such a good mood. Those problems being, what might have possibly happened between Maddy and Willow.
"Nothing, I am just going home." I open the door to the drivers side but it is instantly shut by Cole.
"You are not going anywhere until you tell me whats wrong Lils. I have known you since kindergarten, I know when something is wrong." I stare at the car door, not knowing whether to tell him the truth or not. I decide not to because I would rather be at home contemplating on if Willow would actually stoop this low or not. I push my car door open and rush inside, locking it so Cole can't attempt to keep convincing me to stay.
"Come on Lily, talk to me." I hear his muffled voice on the other side of the door. I ignore him, start my car, back out of the parking spot and drive home. I take my time getting home and let thoughts fill my mind. I wonder if Willow really did sleep with Maddy. If she did, I really don't know how I am going to feel about her anymore. Maddy has caused me so much grief and hurt. Willow was one of the two people, whose shoulders I would cry on, when Maddy would treat me horribly. If she had even thought about sleeping eith him, let alone acting on it, it would break my heart. I guess I am just going to have to confront her about it tomorrow. Let's hope that goes well.
