Alex walked with determination filling his senses. He was finally there. After years of depressing shit, something good finally happened.

He walked through the white doors of the dorm rooms. The halls were lined with doors, each having a number above it. His number was 31. He assumed it would be upstairs, and he was right! He walked up the marble stairs, leading to his room. He would be sharing it, but the person wouldn't come until tomorrow.

After a few tries, he managed to open the wooden door. He didn't expect it to be that hard, or maybe he was just too weak. He wasn't the strongest guy, and he knew that. He'd always blame it on his childhood though.

He was astonished by how big the room was. A large living room, shaped as a circle. Thankfully, it was already furnished. A black couch lay in the middle, facing towards a high quality TV. It even had a footrest! Then, he looked to his left. It had a freaking balcony! He couldn't believe his luck. He walked forward into a hallway. It was slim, and had to a door on each side. However, one should side had two. He assumed it was the bathroom. He went even farther down the hall and stepped into the kitchen. He was speechless. It had a large window casting a glitter of light onto the dining room table. A stove, sink, dishwasher, and microwave sat across from it.

He unpacked for hours, after finally finishing. He hoped that his roommate would be good too.

John could care less about how amazing the dorms looked, all he wanted was a decent roommate. Last year he shared a room with Samuel Seabury, and it was equivalent to hell.

Whenever he walked in he instantly knew he got lucky. First of all, one of the nicest dorms was his. Second of all, the room wasn't a huge mess, the first sign of a terrible roommate. Meaning, his dream might come true!

He took a look around, noticing every small problem with the architecture. He got it from his mom, plus he was an art major. It would certainly be a bother, but he tried to ignore it.

He was confused at which room was his, until he heard a soft snore coming from the room on the right, next to the bathroom. It was pretty early, so John understood why he'd still be asleep. Although, the least you could do is greet your new roommate. However, John couldn't stay mad at a cute little snore like that.

"Stop being so gay! You haven't even met him!" He thought to himself as he opened the door to his room. Thankfully, his roommate gave him the larger room. Man, his luck that day.

He unpacked his art supplies and walked into the living room. He doodles turtles until he heard his roommate's door opened.

Out walked a man with dark brown hair, pulled into a ponytail. His eyes were a dark brown, matching his hair. He seemed sleep deprived as fuck. His body was perfectly shaped. He instantly felt the need to draw him. Let's just say he was a hot mess.

"Oh... hi! I'm your roommate, Alexander Hamilton. Nice to meet you." He said, walking over to John.

John  just noticed how short he was too. It was pretty cute. He probably had the most good looking roommate in the world.

"Uhh... What's your name?" Alexander repeated, snapping John out of his trance.

"...Oh! I'm John Laurens." He answered, almost forgetting his name.

"Ah, so John... What are you majoring in?" Alexander asked.

"Art."

"That's cool."

"You?"

"Law."

The awkward conversation slowly got better as Alex rambled on about politics and John thought about Alex. Alex, being super short, debating. John didn't know why, but the idea of that seemed so cute.

It wasn't long before They both heard a knock on the door.

"I'll go get it!" John said.

He got up and opened the door right before Hercules Mulligan could scream and kick down the door.

They mumbled a few things and left. Alex sat there with a single thought in his head.

"Holy fuck I think that guy made me gay."
