The Broken Children

Chapter 1

In Konoha

Third person POV
A frantic 3 year old kid was running away from a mob of angry villagers. They kept on throwing insults and objects to him.

"Demon! " said a man with a Kunai.
"Monster! " hollered a woman with a bat.
"We will finish what the fourth started! " Screamed another man from the front.

"Please! I didn't do anything! Please, leave me alone! " said the boy as someone threw a bottle of sake towards him.

"No! You are a demon, a monster! We will chase you out of this village, even if it means getting you killed! " One of the villagers cried as the kid took a turn.

That was a mistake...

"Ah. This seems to be the end of the road for you, demon! "Said a woman, next to a man.

" P-please! I-I didn't do anything w-wrong!" said the 3 year old in a cowering voice.

"Now, let us pay you back for killing our beloved Fourth Hokage and family mambers. " Said a man no older the 20.

The villagers started to circle the boy. While doing this, all the boy could do was stare at them with fear, unable to move. Suddenly he fell to the floor, petrified of the fear he had. He closed his eyes, hoping they would get this over and done with. Before they could land a single blow, a voice spoke to them in a harsh manner.

"Leave Naruto alone. " Said man spoke.

"If you know what's good for you, you would let us beat this kid up." Said the man with a kunai.

"He is a monster! " Said the woman next to the man.

"He is only a child, and is that how you're supposed to treat the man who runs this village? " Said the man, stepping into view.

"H-Hokage-s-sama!? " Asked the woman with the bat.

"Now, I'd advice you to get away from the boy if you want to live. " Said Sarutobi.

"B-But Hokage-s-sam-"

"Enough! You will leave Naruto alone! That is an order! Got it! "Said Sarutobi.

" H-Hai, Hokage-sama. " Said the man no older than 20 years of age.

"L-Look! " Said the man with the kunai.

After he said this, they saw what he was astonished to see. The small child had grown a pair of golden colored ears on his head and a fluffy tail.

"W-What? H-How? " Said the woman with the bat, dropping it when she saw what they were talking about.

'When did he grow those ears? And that tail. It's swaying. ' Thought Sarutobi..

"You see! He is a demon! We should kill him when we have the chance, and that is right now! " Said the man with a Kunai.

"NO! You will do no such thing! I want all of you to go away, and if you say a word of this incident, you will be punished " Said Sarutobi. "Understood?! "

"H-Hai! " They said as they ran off.

'Now, to deal with this' thought Sarutobi as he look at the Naruto's body.

"Inu!" Said Sarutobi.

After he said this, a cloud of smoke appeared and in the middle of it was a masked man.

"You called Hokage-sama?" Asked the masked man.

"Yes, I did. You see this boy? Take him to my office and leave him in the couch. After you are done with this, you are free to go home. " Sarutobi said

"Hai, Hokage-sama. " Said Inu as he walked over to the boy and picked him up.

"And do me one more thing. " Said Sarutobi.

"Hai. " Said Inu

"Don't tell anyone of how he looks and don't let anyone see you. " Sad Sarutobi.

"Hai." Said Inu, after a short hesitation, and with that, vanished.
