Chapter 9

Naruto's POV
Uzumaki-Namikaze Compound
Next day

I woke up, looked at the clock, which read 5:00 AM, and noticed a smell. It was coming from the kitchen. When I got up, I couldn't help but notice that the smell was sweet and fragile. I quickly changed and went downstairs to see my one-day old sister. Well, more like several hours but, eh.

"Hinata-nee-chan. What are you doing? " I asked.

"Awww. You called me older sister." She said, holding back a fake sob.

I pout and she giggles.

"Anyways, I'm making cinnamon rolls so that we have something sweet to eat. I know you can make food, but you can't make desserts like I can. " She said, teasingly sticking out her tongue.

"Aww. You're so mean Hinata-nee. " I said, playfully getting hurt.

"C'mon. We have to get ready for our genin exams. Which reminds me... " She said as I got some sausages to make breakfast.

"Whose your sensei, Naruto?" She said playfully.

I just got a tint of pink on my cheeks and she looked at me in question.

"So? Who is it? " She said, wanting an answer.

"I-It's Hatake. " I whispered, but she still caught the name and just looked at me. Then she smiled. Then she giggled. Then she just full out laughed.

"Pfft. Haha. Oh Kami. Man, sucks to be you." She said, while something clicked in my head and I smiled. 

"Hey, Hinata-nee~. Whose on your team? ~" I asked teasingly.

She shut up after hearing what I said and just blushed. Now it was my turn to laugh.

"Haha. Look whose talking." I said, trying to suppress a laugh but somewhat failed because you could still hear the stifled noises coming out of my mouth.

"How about we eat breakfast already. I'm supposed to meet my team at 6. We only have 45 minutes left. " She said, quickly changing the subject.

"Ok." I said.

My tail swished from side to side and I started to make breakfast. When I was done, I had made pancakes with eggs, sausage and hash browns. I got to the dinning room and set everything up. When I finished doing that, I got back to the kitchen and started to bring the breakfast in so that we could eat. It took me 15 minutes to make it and it was now 5:31 AM. Hina came in and sat down. When I finished setting up the table, I sat down opposite of her.

"Itadakimasu." We said in unison and got our chopsticks and forks. Then we ate in peaceful silence until Hina started talking.

"Hey, Naru. Since you have a tail and ears and you passed some of your blood into me, does that mean I will get a tail and ears too?"

"I don't know Hina. Let's ask Kura. " I said, bit my thumb, and made some handseals.

"Summoning Jutsu. " I said and slowly put my palm down.

There was a puff of smoke and out came the fox, napping and mummblibg things in his sleep.

"No. I will not let you take my food you wild dog. Hey! Come back here! "

Hina and I just sweat dropped.

"Nē. Kura. We need to ask you something. " I said.

He woke up and just stared at us.

"Hey guys. *yawn* Why did you summon me? I was having*yawn*a nice dream. " He said while stretching.

"I summoned you because we need to ask you a question. " I said as he got on his four legs.
